It's got everything I appreciate: No talking, good music, a dog, roasted meat, and some REALLY nice woodworking. I cannot begin to tell you how badly I want this for myself. This looks like absolute paradise! Well done!!

Trees were never intended to suddenly have so much added to them, having grown to support only there own weight. I wonder at what point adding all that extra bulk to the original structure started ringing alarm bells?

Best treehouse I have seen. Best feature is the bed of a comfortable size. Many details are admirable because of your great skills.
Suggestion you can ignore: remove the bark on the bed pieces because I think the bugs, ants, and dust mites will be permanently intimate bedmates.

Check out the tree house on Nik Rijavek's channel. It was posted about 5 years ago before he posted about the log house he built. Haven't seen the end of this vidio yet so don't know how they compare but Nik's tree house is fantastic.
I like how you used rope to block out rain and cold air it also gives your house a western woodsy affect.

I don't get that privilege to do what you are doing. Where I live off grid is 55 miles from any roads. Another 70 miles from the nearest town or city.
But this helps to understand what I need to do in order to make my tree house better.

i got claustrophobia just looking at how HUGE it was. the fire potential is very big. then there is the snow load on the roof. death trap rings a bell.

lol I get queasy every time you step out on that deck area before you put up the hand rails. It's funny because I can feel my knees tensing up. me + heights = panic 😂 But i love watching your channel! It's fast became one of my all time favorites
Its nice that you had food out for the deer. But where I live if you do that in deer hunting season you will get a citation for baiting the hunting area even if you never intended to shoot any deer.

Man, if my fiance was a little more inclined to a minimalist lifestyle, id build one of these in a secret spot in a national forrest and legit live there. I lived out of a tent for a year, by choice to save money and when I was done, finally bought a house. I never thought id miss it but I do every day. Modern trappings are just that.....a trap. Beautiful place you made there.

I haven't seen the dog up there. I worry the dog does not come up.
Would certainly be possible to get the dog up there. Just build a cage that he can winch up there. But doesn't look like he has anything such, so it's probably tied to a tree on the ground or something.
More likely a pulley of some kind for the stove. Plus dogs know how to climb ladders

as an arborist of almost 28 years: you’d be surprised how rare trees are ever struck by lightning (once in a blue moon, yes.. but not often.)
