The religious and philosophical traditions that have come out of the subcontinent differentiate themselves from all other earthly traditions because they start with the premise that knowledge of truth comes from within and not from some external source. This is a beautiful thing that I celebrate with my Buddhist and Hindu family.
Beautiful..you are a gift to us, who explains so beautifully such difficult , incomprehensible things so simple form. Ur English feels like Hindi. No hi-fi English words, u only use very simple English. Thanks.
I like what you say about breaking free from physical limitations. Our soul leaves the body every night and we need to get to experience the next dimension.Enhanced consciousness, nearness to Atma, spiritual pleasure, advancement in our spiritual evolution. Thanks for making the video.
Respectfully, “the aim of life is liberation” raises a question! A man is born free, then.he gets tied down by various identities thrust upon him by family & society. He is showered with love & gifts to please him. As he grows, he fulfills desires which primarily have seeds in the family & society. In a way these shackles are man made ! How can this become aim of life ! First we create a problem , then to solve it becomes aim of life !!!! This is how I see it: man is a leaf on the tree of human race. My aim becomes to help myself grow and help others to grow so that tree of human race keeps growing! Problem is we have succumbed to selfishness & greed, which has its consequences of mental suffering ! We need to liberate ourselves from selfishness & greed by performing Nishkam karma, if we can’t do that, at least live a need based life & not greed based life. As lord krishna says- you are not the owner of wealth created by you, but only trusty! Those who understand it , have real joy of life and philanthropy is the way. So the aim becomes to help weaker, so that they too become stronger thus helping the the tree of Human race grow stronger & stronger uniformly. A leaf is a great example: a leaf since birth starts photosynthesis, thus releasing oxygen in the atmosphere for all the living beings, it cooks food for itself and for the tree whose leaf it is during its life time.🙏
Lakhani sahab thank you for your insights.... i love watching your vdos. So essentially as i understood (or let me say i think i understood), some of us aspire for something that is more profound than our present state. And that is the reason why the saints and sages have always longed for moksha. But what happens when after getting used to the state of moksha the spirit realises once again OH THERE IS SOMETHING EVEN MORE MAGNIFICIENT. So....When and where will all this end???... As the old time shayar 'zouq' had said... "Ab toh ghabra ke yeh kehte hain ki mar jayenge... Mar ke bhi चैन na paya toh... Kidhar jayenge" Sir its too much troubling ..
Thats true, my grandma told me three months ago - gave me back all jewelry what I gives she say Thats it I enjoyed now I don't want someone misplace your item so I give back tovyou and make package and told my uncle open when I am passaway. She made package there everything she want to dress up even little gold to put in mouth. We try try to go hospital to get out stone. But she said Thats it. I am 89 I live my life. And she pass away after get sick for about few day. She is very spiritual.
Thanks for the great talk. I have a humble question: I read in Sri ramakrishna Kathamrita that except Avataras or Iswarakotis (Vivekananda or Ramana maharshi), a true Jnani will not survive for more than 21 days. I have never for once encountered the term Jivanmukta in Sri Ramakrishna Kathamrita. Is it possible for an ordinary soul like us (not an Avatara or Iswarakoti nor having any desire to give up body within 21 days) to attain Moksha without the grace of a God? Sri Ramakrishna also emphasizes to ask for the grace of divine Mother. He didn't use the term to "use god for liberation" as far as I know. Please shed some light on that.
His pathway was different.Swami Vivekananda made another sect of liberation for practical people like us where there was no God worship. He also made an ashram in Himalayas where Ramakrishna Paramhamsa was not allowed to enter. So,different paths, same location. In my case,I believe that karma is more important devotion. My father will be more happier if I study more than worshiping him like a God.
Adi Sankara emphasized this particular notion that karma alone is not important. Karma with devotion is the way. Though you perform karma, The supreme being is the one who gives you the fruits of your efforts. Karma alone does not help which is what purva and Uttara mimasa is about

The search of God is not the aim of human life, The aim of human life is Liberation.

Sir its too much troubling ..
Hari bol.
Completely detachment with the body and established in the bliss of atman and yet he comes back and says" let me use this body to communicate".

It is state of mind
Its out of mind mind is limited
Sir this whole desire and attraction stuff cimes as soon as we are born but what are we born why are we not satisfied just as a soul.
rajendra trivedi it’s not in fact born, it’s just our ignorance to think that I’m this body... it just appears out of ignorance that we are born

I have the same doubt

Not in a very huge way but one of my uncle is such.
Master of the universe and yet he wants nothing from it no achievements, no praises nothing
Nirvana can be achieved only one way, given by buddha
Have you experienced? No,I guess.Don't spit anything which are not facts. Many paths to reach same place.
Jainism is also powerful
