►Synopsis:

I had a friend who’s parents were in a similar situation her mother thankfully divorced him and my friend was really happy for her mother.

This scene was done too beautifully. Most women have grown cold by this point. I can understand if a wife does things out of habit and old feelings, but still, if it’s gotten to the point where she brings up divorce first, she’s done with him. If you’re gonna be unfaithful, just don’t get married. You’re gonna drag someone else and their family and your children through the mudd while you’re out playing having the time of your life, and then try to crawl back to them whenever you’re in trouble?

It's the crying for me but both are incredible in this scene. A great scene and a testament to one's love falls short of expectation. That slow burn at the end when she hugged him and said "I don't want to live with you anymore."
Now that's how you do the divorce.......it leaves them regretting for life because your worth was what you left them with in the end

So how did he get infected and honestly that's kind of scary now with the covid 19 and everything see a man going to go get start cheating on his wife gonna get something other than STD could possibly get the covid and then when they start asking where have you been the last 24 hours ago why with screwing some lady. So he had light and said he was going on a business trip and then baby get infected when he went to go see was it that he was gonna go see that young girl the one that had light in such was pregnant and asked his wife to divorce him Why wasn't she there at the hospital taking care of his ass then then so did he know something was going on because she was training him so good but she always treated him good and honestly it's better that she divorced him now that the Little girl was still small and not old enough to realize OK what's going on and the thing is he also was interested in her it's not like she stole him from another girl or you know she just was the only one interested in him and he wasn't interested in her I don't understand did the cheating only start when she was pregnant and why did he cheat withe was to me and seem like different people are right like he didn't stay with the consistent 1 lady that he was cheating on because it's the last 1 that ass The wife to divorce him she looked like a young girl honestly showed what she was in high school or something So does he love any of these women really or is it more like to feed his ego

Reason his wife wasnt at the hospital to care for him was b/c they wouldnt let her, they actually escorted her out when she refused to leave. the mistress called the wife and apologized for infecting him, saying he wouldnt have gotten infected if she hadnt have asked him to come to her. That's how the wife figured out what happened. this was the last straw about his cheating, any of the others she forgave b/c he always said he would live a peaceful life with her after she caught him at it. One of the mistress's actually came after him for 100,000 b/c she got "pregnant", think its actually the one that asked him to come to her and got him infected to be honest. He is a really hated character b/c he doesnt stand up to the girls at all, his wife has to do it. He has NO backbone at all. She finally grew a backbone and divroced him.
@@TheCelidon Yeah because if it was that girl that pretended that she was pregnant she looks super young and then when they found out they were trying to get out of the country her family or whatever she goes back and she's like making a scene in front of him his wife the daughter and her family and he doesn't do anything to eat until I get out I'm not gonna leave my wife hes just like honey do with the problem kind of a thing that's why I'm saying that girl kind of unaffected she's the one that should have stayed with his ass and took him care of him so what made him actually realize that OK my wife found out and she's leaving me, I didn't choose because now it really affected her whole family they all got locked up by incorporated aren't they all got tested

For many men love and sex are two different things. They say they love their wife or lover and will go nuts if they even blink at other men but they sleep with multiple women. I don't understand this at all. Why can't some men and women understand that when u are in a relationship loyalty and honesty are more important aspects, even more important than love.

It's the women who really have to make a decision to stay with a cheater or dump him. How can anyone love a pebble in their shoe?
Simei's family had to pay the girl that he just cheated with thousands of dollars so that they wouldn't put him in court for sleeping with her, then he turned around and travelled during the epidemic to go back to her, got sick as a result, almost died, now he's crying when he now can be with her freely? He should be jumping for joy that he's free. They can use the money that his wife's family gave them and live happily ever after. what in the world is he crying for?
Not only that. Because of him, SImei's whole family had to quarantine together all of a sudden. The trouble that Simei put her whole family through makes me want to slap her like crazy and beat the crap out of Chenggang. The brother also didn't have to pay the money since the girl wasn't really pregnant. Add to that the fact that Chenggang went and saw/slept with her again. It wasn't like she was raped by him. Not only shouldn't Simei's family have paid any money; in fact they should have demanded that the money be returned when the silly mistress stormed into their house begging Simei to let her and Chenggang be together. In short, Simei's whole family is stupid and quite pathetic actually, especially Yicheng (just recall how he was such a sucker for abuse by his ex-wife and her family), or else why are they having problem after problem after problem?! They are suckers; their hearts are too soft. No wonder they are always being taken advantage of. They could have taken the girl's family to court or just let Chenggang be beaten and jailed. It is his fault anyway.

I just don't understand, why is he crying? He should be overjoyed, now he can finally have all the women he wants. I never understand why some men are like this, it's as if they want their wife to always be there (as if she is his Mother), they don't want to leave her, but they also want other women. I can't figure out what that's about. If he wanted to cheat with the girl so badly, that he even travelled during an epidemic, not caring if he caught the disease and by going, could possibly make his child sick, now he's crying when he can now live with the woman he was desperate to cheat with freely. Sarah Shah that’s your opinion not fact , not every child turn out to be like their parent. What I’m saying is that a child will need their parent when growing up and the child growth is affected by how the parent behave toward each other but the mom or dad teaching plays an important role in the child life too. They as an adult have to teach the child what’s right and wrong. It’s not only the parent relationship that affect the child growing up but it’s also the parent teaching too and not every child turn out like you describe. I seen some decent or normal person who gown up fine given their dark past.

This scene was done beautifully and really captured the emotions. I had to rewatch it several times and still can't get over it!
I always come back to this scene because I love how well the dialogue is written between them, especially the ending. Her asking the simple question of "Do you still want to live with me?" Not if he loves her or if he can change, just if he wants to be there and her reply "But I dont want to live with you anymore." Like that is so hurtful, but in such a caring and emotional way, it's so good. I really liked her character because I always think she is true representation of watching the person you're in love with just completely change. You recognize they are different, but instead of being angry and regretful, you're full of empathy because you know you have also changed and it's just time to move on.
When they cry like this you can almost believe they will change.

That's what I say. There was no love between them. She was just co-dependent emotionally and he just did not care for her at all. That's why he cheated on her so many times. In real life, she could have caught a disease with this man. A woman who loves herself only takes one time to know her partner or husband is cheating to dump him.
