MAX POWER on the HUBEN GK1 .25 cal

- I turned the power ALL the way up on my Huben GK1 .25 caliber and I was able to get over 81 foot pounds of energy. but just for the first shot, then it goes down from there. I was using the H&N 44 grain slugs for this test. in my opinion it's pretty nuts to get over 80 ft lbs from an air pistol 🤯
- กีฬา
This thing delivers 16 more foot pounds of energy than actual .25 ACP.
Where as 65 fpe is pretty common. 25 acp the power can vary massively depending on pistol and ammo combo. From mid 40's to upward of 150 fpe. But your right it's amazing to think that an air pistol is even in the running. A few years ago unthinkable. Thanks to Gregor the mastermind in Serbia
and quieter than a .25 lol
@@airgunfun4248 THIS WILL F*CK YOU UP WORSE BECAUSE YOU WANT EVEN HEAR IT...
And 40 less then 22lr let’s goooo
It's also $1,400
The Rolls-Royce of PCP pistols.
It is right now for sure I have two
@knos360 ...I challenge you to a duel at high noon!!😎
Its this or the other one evanex.. not too much choice..maybe few years more we will get some more semi auto pistols above 700
How to order?
Bro, that thing is going to sell so fast.
Not at $1400 it won't.
You can just get a HDR .50 and mod it for 80+ joules lol. If your shooting 300 grain .50s 80 joules is enough to break ribs. And rather than costing 1.2k, a HDR and mods costs around 300 or 400
If you want more power, you can mod em for a couple hundred joules with HPA.
@@y0h0p38or get a black powder pistol for 400...
@@y0h0p38 have you seen a modded hdr that is not concealable or even practical gtfo
heyre sold out on backorder, so yes, 1400 isnt much to some people@@andrewmosley2588
Man.... imagine if they made this for like a 5500 psi resevoir and with a regulator.
And a rotary mag
Available now!
These are such awesome guns man. They sound great too. Haven’t seen many pistol style air guns that actually look really nice and this does it. Plus it’s got some power too.
I need this for self defense while in car 🚗
o You live in your car
It's Good for that..I carry this
There like 2 grand dude
@murderbner6760 No they are not 2 Grand they are 1,200$ I should know I have two of them.
I got it it .25cal. It’s awesome.
50 fpe is the minimum lethal limit this is quite impressive you could get alot of shots off before dropping below that with the right ammo
I got my .25 shooting 50 grain slugs at 880 feet per second. It still can be turned up more too.😊
Facts..This 25 is actually performing like a 25 cal..I have two of these
@@knos360
Yes over 86 foot pounds
What slugs are you using? I've had issues with slugs getting jammed and dumping air out of the gun , it seems to like pellets better .
I never had a jam with my K1, used all sized slugs (.249/.250/.251/.253) except .254.
Which size jams with you?
@Harolddespui The gun works with Heavy Pellets much better.
I do wish more Airgun companies would utilize this hammerless system. I am more than sure improvements could be made and granted that is a challenge. It’s an amazing and easy system to maintain.
Damn cant wait to get mine, should have ordered from the US 😢
Isn't the US the only place you can get this? That's a restricted firearm here in Canada lol
@@jacobtimmers9142 sorry i am from South América, but how on earth an airgun can be classified as a firearm, man, there are 2 different types o propellant systems it just simple facts the psi that an airgun can produce are just totally on an other league that can be achieved with gunpowder. No trying to get political or anything but when a goverment starts to ignore simple science facts in order to start opressive regulations it is time to worry.
I Have friends that escaped from Venezuela they tell that one of the first measures that left wing goverments does before a "revolution" is disarming the People, that way the army will not find any resistence when taking over the country, just saying be safe 👌
@@jacobtimmers9142 by the way you con buy this and the rifle versión directly from huben official site, check your country customs regulation, in mine just have to pay some taxes to get It to my door 👍
Some countries in Europe (Netherlands and Belgium) don't have a power-/caliber restriction for airguns.
@Harolddespui wtf thats crazy, you can get .50's that shoot 1000fps, that'll blow your hand off lmao
Thank you for making this video! ...you just saved me 1600 bucks, cuz I was thinking about buying one, but not now! 👍✌️
Why?
@Cyberpunker2077 ...I thought it was regulated, and I was planning on scoping it because I figured it would be really accurate, but getting to see it over the chrono changed my mind... 200 fps difference from shot 1 to 10 would change your holdover points with every shot! I still want one, but I'll wait till they release a "Gen 2" regulated model. ✌️
@@drummerdavemax 👍
Non regulated, $1700 … Nope ☝🏼
@@julesgardet659 It would still work great for home defense, just not for precision shooting & hunting like I had planned.
Awesome! I would probably use 33.95 .25 heavy JSB pellets and dial-in velocity for about 50-55fpe. Perfect plinker and small game hunter. It needs a small red dot on the rail. Now the quest for a proper holster...
I'd like a chance to retool it. The design is simple and impressive.
I assume it has a ratcheting arm just like a double action revolver. And the side safety looks like it might actually be safe, unlike the mechanism for the aea zeus.
But I'd rather have a few less shots for a larger caliber, somewhere along 46 cal. Then secure tank on a quick connect valve so I could really experiment with reloads and potentially larger belt holstered tanks.
Not sure how the reloading of the cylinder is, but I have a few ideas to speed it up if necessary
Dovetail glock sights would be great, just so I could throw some truglow on there
Overall, this is a great logical leap forward after far too much time.
Looks like something out of death loop
You should do some testing in ballistics gel if you can...if not maybe some meat like chicken or beef so we can see what it can do in a real self defense situation.
Hornet vs slug would be interesting.
@Parapon3ra Hortnets don't fit and are too Light..This gun like Very Heavy Pellets you don't need slugs..
Plenty of vids on YT have already done that.
I've been shooting are for 30 years and these H&M's are the cleanest ammo I've ever used everytime I'm also really digging the Gamo pyramids good stopping power to accuracy ratio
That is phenomenal!!!! Great video brother!!!!
Thanks bro
I would really like to be able to see what kind of expansion you are getting on the slugs please.
Would like to be able to know more about the .25cal. HUBAN.
First time I've heard of them.
At those speeds probably little to none and only on first couple shots. And if they did expand it would mean awful penetration. I would stick with round nose. And a pellet would be good the skirt expands and helps velocity. Seneca makes a 43 grain. If it would fit the mag they would be a great option I think. This gun is very unique One of the very few hammerless rifles worked into a pistol by a man Named Gregor in Serbia. We've all been waiting years and Huben has finally made the gun!
that is a .22 lr pistol energy
Yes actually more..I have mine with 34 Grain 1078 FPS it is a 25 Cal performing like one
I came here to say the same. These might be worse than a .22lr pistol being it’s .25cal and I’ll bet those slugs expand pretty good with the softer lead
Everyone says stupid shit until they get shot in the dome with one and don't wake up 😂 y'all don't know shit about ballistics, or foot pounds.
@@knos360 its super tuned???,, because factory does 50fp/55fp max
22lr with hyper round and same length barrel it's much more powerful, and the price of the bullets are almost the same that the heavy pellets he are using. Only advantage is air gun is not regulated
Every time I see a video of the gk1 I get depressed I don’t have one, fear I won’t be able to get one, depressed again, then I get fomo, then I dream of concealed carry, then I look at more videos 😂
You know honesty this is probably the perfect assassin’s pistol
What a beast 🦾🦾
I had no idea these pistols were capable of this
In my dreams I have this air pistol. After being diagnosed with ptsd I'm no longer allowed to carry certain guns . Because it's an air pistol I could and would love to carry and shoot this pistol.
What state does this evil? That's why everyone should avoid head shrinkers they work for the bad guys. Or at least find a way to keep it off the books. Work it out brother F their little boxes they put people in. And their names and diagnosis's. You just got some stuff on your mind doesn't mean you are less than
This is some legendary assassin grade stuff.
Roughly a 24 FPS drop per shot starting from a full fill in your tests. No regulator, or a faulty regulator?
Right?! For the price of that pistol, I was expecting a far nicer shot curve. Sure, the power is impressive, but there’s no consistency with it. Overall, I’m quite disappointed with its performance.
@@RFTwo he clearly states in the vid "tuned for max power"........
@@danhouse7565 Right…I understand that. I was expecting 3-5 consistent shots though. Doesn’t seem like a tall ask, given the price of the pistol.
Very very cool gun and suitable for self defense or hikers and it’s doesn’t have a regulator that’s why the speed dropping with each shoot but it’s fine
With a regulator the speed would drop the same because he turned it to max power.
Thats a real gun sir to say the least 😂
That's a cracking air pistol. My friend has a 50cal airgun here in the UK and it's immense. Sadly, while power levels for FAC air rifles in the UK are unlimited, we can't go above a paltry 6ftlb with air pistols.
That didnt taper off a "little bit" it tapered off by 40% velocity over the whole magazine which means it tapered off a lot in terms of energy
Why did the FPS rating taper off like that? Are you using HPA? HPA is supposed to be consistent unless it isn't regulated.
You show the FPE using the H&N .25 cal. slugs here. I am curios to know if you have done an accuracy test of these slugs compared to the JSB Heavy .25 cal. pellets?
Rifle Brand Rifle slugs 48.5 grains. fits perfectly
Curious - what's the decibel reading of this suppressed? Also, with full setup, including compressor and suppressor, what would i expect to spend...ballpark? Thx
It's interesting I didn't even know this gun existed i say this because I use to play this old video game called Iron storm and the setting was in the 1950s but the twist is that ww2 never ended but they had different types of interesting hand guns and machine guns in the game and literally this Huben gun looks straight from the game really cool to look at haha
Wow! The FPS really drops like a rock! 81 FPE for 1 shot maybe. It’s cool and all but I’ll stick with my LCS. Still…looks like a lot of fun.
The specs are still above the power of a .25 acp fmj. That means its lethal.
And some people call Airguns fake guns.😂 They are actual guns
Someone, please make an affordable one for us airgun enthusiasts with not too much money 😞
Its an airpistol and you can shoot to the moon with it 😂
What power do you have it set at?
That's 22LR sub sonic energy.
More energy than 25 acp
are you able to charge this with a tire air compressor??
This thing is a legit handgun man. Fucking sweet
I thought you are not supposed to used slugs unless youre gun has over 1000 fps? Because it messes up the inside of the barrell,it actually melts and becomes slippery and leaves residue ..messes up the gun
How did you get it to this power?
how much wood will it penetrate ?
Needs side view against ballstics jel to show force expansion and dispersion, and hollopoint possible?
Only for the first shoot. The 5th shoot has 65.20 FP. I have a Huben k1. 22
Almost as good as a 22lr
Probably better. In pistol format this makes more power but you can make it whisper quiet and have ZERO RED TAPE ... so ...
Does the suppressor come with the GK1?
Nice gun
Do the slugs fit the Huben K1 aswell?
How loud is it? I’d like to have something like this, but I’m afraid it’d spook the neighbors XD is it large bore air rifle loud, or airsoft pistol loud?
What will this take in the way of GAME?THANKS
Imagine if you had a 4LT 300 BAR SCBA Tank strapped to your back and tethered to your Huben, perhaps you'd keep your power output at a higher level for more shot count!!!
Problem with this guns is that after the first shot the energy drops and drops down.
Do you need a concealed carry permit to carry concealed with these
How many foot pounds can the 0.22 do with similar slugs?
I looooove that piece of art. Ahm'Ō get me one.
For 1300 bucks, might as well get a black powder pistol.
but, on the downside, the second shot is considerably slower.... but, looking on the bright side, nobody will be able to see anything at all for at least 10 minutes for all the smoke
i’m using Nilsen 38.5 grain slugs let my cylinder magazine keeps jamming. The slug seem very loose. Do you have a slug that you recommend and possibly a link to where I can purchase them? I’m looking for maximum power out of my GK1 25 cal. thank you.
Existe desse modelo no .22 ?Does this model exist in .22?
How does that energy compare to something like a 9mm?
Info on this airguns
Jow many shots at 81 lbs oer charge?
Where is it made?
I see the dropping power
Those slugs jammed my .25 cal.
That dropped off pretty rapidly huh. Hits hard though
Can we buy these in the UK ?
109.821 joules of energy legally in the uk its 16.2 joules. Ffs man 😢
Is the suppressor legal in California?
Fishing weights is what I think you have in your hands
I use fishing weights in my. 30 cal hatsan blitz
.61 gr
Bro I’m gettin when it goes back in fkn stock jeezus
Where can I get mine tell me?
thats huge
This is an air pistol
where can i buy it?
Better than a wellrod
How many shots per air fill, to be feasible how big of a filler tank to get say 100 shot's? How much do the pellets cost? The pistol is also huge, a .22mag with a suppressed bbl would be smaller and just as powerful.
a 22mag suppressed means your shooting subsonic ammo. And the suppressor will cost you US$200.oo just for the paperwork required by the ATF (finger prints, a fotograph and sign off by your local LEO) then a 3-9 month wait while they process your paperwork. Cost of the pellets? There's a thing called Google....
Some folks can't legally own a firearm. This looks like glimmer of hope for legit self defense for such citizens.
Hey, I re ognize Cabazone Peak in the background!
Έργο τέχνης!!❣️💯🌟☝🏻☝🏻
One question how long will it hold a tank of air? I had pcp guns that after one year the air had leaked out and i guess seals were ruined. If used for home defence you might put it up and not need for years but when you do need you want tank ready for action.
youd need to inspect it regularly to keep it at proper operational readiness
I've had my non-regulated blitz full for 5 months. Still full.
thanks@@danhouse7565
Nice
It loses energy like crazy. The PCP rifles hold onto their energy longer with their bigger tanks
Is it just me or does it look like the suppressor sits higher than the front sights...?
They often do if you don't install suppressor height sights, I suspect there aren't a lot of sight options for these things yet
@@D--5Red dot.....
Is this back yard friendly with the suppressor?
Yes. Especially when you have the power turned down.
How accurate is it with the slugs? Is this at 5000 psi? What did you use to get it up to 5000 psi if so? Looks like most air compressors and tanks only go 4500
It was 5000. I use an Omega Trail Charger to fill it.
I have not tested the slugs for accuracy out past 25 yards. But they seem to be just as good as the pellets.
@@ShootingGearReviews thanks for the response. You think a yong heng would implode if i tried to fill up to 5000?
@@ShootingGearReviewsMay i ask, did you use the H&N 44gr often in your GK1 and no jam?
Put a optic on it. Grab a sand bag. And see how far you can take it smacking gongs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Short barrel does not necessarily mean bad accuracy at long range. I bet that thing goes out to 75 yards without to much issue
Tapered off? The thing emptied itself after like 3 shots lol
Now that's an airgun for self-defense
If u taken more time to thoroughly review all aspects of this gun for consideration as a defense weapon then you'll quickly notice that it's definitely not a good use for defense. Definitely not this gen 1 design.
@@lexxzusI'm a newbie to the field. With my limited knowledge I thought this was a solid choice. What airgun do you suggest for defense?
@kjaze thats an easy one, the .72 zeus, the abolute beast has more kenetic energy output than a .223 and will blow a fist sized hole right through a deer when used for hunting, it can also be suppressed to the point where deer can hear it from 30 to 40m away but dont bolt after hearing it.
Check your local laws on legality as it if i remember correctly puts out well over 1500 ftlb with larger projectiles
@@xMrjamjam Awesome! Thanks
Can this be regulated?
My question is with what do you fill it up to 5000 psi?
I use my omega trail charger
So any air compressor rated for 4,500 can fill it to 5,000 or do you only fill to 4,500. I looked up your air compressor and it’s only rated for 4,500.
A gx cs4 compressor can do it. Also some hand pumps like the huben one can. Some compressors rated for 4500 can go to 5000, it's just not a great idea and will either produce more wear and tear than they are intended to take or could be dangerous
Got to get 1
Its tuned?
I tuned it for max power
@@ShootingGearReviews factory how many f/ pounds?
Do you have to fill that with gas or is it just an air pump? Is this portable? Could it be used for small game?
Idk but a lot of them small pistols you can use a small pump
