Hockey is such an amazing and exciting sport. So sad that there were no viewers. Can´t understand this.

There are excellent crowds in other countries. What is going on (or not) with hockey in Germany?

It's so sad I played hockey in Germany for some time.
And fact is that because the media just shows Football.
The smaller sports are just not shown so they get no money from fans, media or politics.
Especially we are good enough to win more titles than thr german football teams.

@@Pertinax193A.D. But don't you have a hockey community there? Hockey isn't a headline sport in the UK but if you play club hockey you're going to know when every match is on without the media telling you.

There’s no one in the crowd. Very disappointing. When will the FIH realise the world league is a terrible idea and not financially sustainable.

You mean PRO League. World League was a much better concept.

It's Germany we just don't have so many fans here, because all the Attention goes to Football

@@Pertinax193A.D. The problem is that they built this beautiful stadium in a City who has no big Hockey club. This a stadium for a City like Hamburg where are so many famous clubs with many fans.

I think the league is financially sustainable. Other countries like Netherlands, Belgium and Great Britain get a decent crowd. The only way the British players can be professional is with the Pro League.

Clueless and dysfunctional GB team loses to a mediocre German team. Not unexpected after the abysmal GB performance against Argentina.
