Hello, friends! In June 2024, Voice Studio hosted a final concert, to which I was kindly invited. It was my first experience performing my own song in front of an audience, as well as my first experience using a microphone. Each vocalist was given about 30 seconds to adapt to the microphone. So I had to adjust to it on the fly. I can't say that it turned out very badly:)). But it was certainly not easy to fight the excitement. I partly managed to cope with it!

But then I managed to cope with the excitement! Of course, it is worth admitting that there is a huge difference between working in a studio and performing live in public. When recording a voice in a studio, intonation accuracy and the performer's ability to sing into a microphone with headphones on are very important. When performing on stage, it is very important to know how to work with a microphone. Special speakers in front of the stage, called monitors, are very helpful in monitoring the voice. Thanks to these speakers, the vocalist hears himself. And of course, a separate task is to cope with excitement. I asked my students - future actors of drama theater and cinema - how they cope with excitement before going on stage. There are special trainings for this.
