I would like to get one of your slings. Im grateful for this video as I couldn't decide between ring sling or just a warp one. Now I see I can make a ring slig with wrap sling by using rings 😊
Hi, thanks for your question. The tail won't slip provided you have enough of a tail for it to sit over your shoulder and it's properly fixed by the longer tail on top then your baby's weight acts as an anchor. This carry does work best with older babies because the heavier weight does a great job at anchoring it.
Obviously we'd suggest you use an Oscha ;) I'm not too sure on the fabric, but theoretically it is possible if it is woven (rather than knitted like a stretchy sling) and around 2.2 - 2.7m.
What a great assistant to have.

Do you ever have any problems with the short inside tail slipping from the baby's weight?

Can I use a solly baby wrap with rings to make a sling?

If I only have a rigid wrap and just got some rings… would that work out or should I get another wrap?
You could try breaking the wrap in a bit more so that its easier to work with - th-cam.com/video/HCt884nQvAo/w-d-xo.html
Is it possible I can get a measurement on the length and width of the fabric
This will be around 60-70cm wide and 2.7m long
Can this be done with a thicker wrap? The one one this video looks thin
Hi, yes you can also do it with a thick wrap, it may be a little harder to adjust but will also hold the tension well.
Could you please tell me how many meter of cloth you have taken?
It's a size 2 wrap (2.7m)
How thin is this wrap?
Hi there, that one is 243gsm, you can find it here - www.oschaslings.com/shop/babywearing/baby-wrap/misty-mountains-aduial-baby-wrap
