We visited Cozygirl's hometown this time and had a great time with family after a long time.
We also finally found a house to move into 🏠

this looks delicious! Just a tip from a fellow spaniard: You don’t need to add so much cinnamon, and it’s usually eaten after it’s been left out at room temperature or in the fridge! ☺️ We also don’t stir it so much since it can mush the rice. Other than that, It looks fantastic!

Just a tip for when you make rice pudding again: boil the water + lemon peels + 1 cinnamon stick together. Once the water is boiled , take the cinnamon stick out and take out the lemon peel then add your rice to boiling water. Then add your milk + a can of condensed milk and cook in a low heat. That’s it ❤️ delicious!

And to be honest, with how I have been going around looking at pretty cups and glasses, I can kinda understand the need to pick up the ones you like! I want to experience a day in the field too, I once visited my mom's hometown and expected to go to the field but then no one took me there 🥺 It's hard work but the thought of eating what you grow seems so nice!

Arroz con leche in Mexico is made different, so interesting to see other versions. In my house the arroz con leche is REALLY sweet!we use condensed milk and lots of sugar...really yummy cold or hot

You can never have too much cinnamon
You might think that but Mexicans eat that a lot too as desert but the reason we put a lot of cinnamon, is because sense the rice dose not have that much flavor its hard to catch the cinnamon in rice with milk. That's why people put a lot of cinnamon!
Leslie Yanez yeah that’s true. In Peru we usually add a lot of cinnamon powder when you serve arroz con leche, well at least I do it because I love cinnamon. But I’m gonna try this way next time. Thanks ☺️

In Mexico its preparation is different and it tastes very good, here is the recipe for you to try:
To prepare it we will need:
1 cup of white rice
3 cups of water
1 cup of milk
1 can of condensed milk
50 grams of raisins
1 cinnamon stick
200 grams of strawberries in pieces
Cinnamon powder to taste
preparation:
First, heat the water along with the piece of cinnamon. Add the rice as soon as it starts to boil and, when it is tender, add the raisins, the jug of milk and the condensed milk. Lower the heat and cook for 20 minutes. Let it heat up, add the strawberries and serve with a touch of ground cinnamon.

@@annierei7017 I was scared of anything that is fragile that's why I always opt to plastic. Now, i'm into ceramics and thingking of buying glass tumbler as a start. I'm still kinda scared of glasses but cozyday helps me so it will be fine I guess.

Arroz con leche, it's famous dessert in Colombia. I love it 🇨🇴
Here in Brasil we do the "arroz doce" (br portuguese) or "arroz con leche" (spanish) in a easiest way. You just have to boil 2 cups of rice with 10 cups of water, and after cooked you put 1 liter of milk and let it cook for about 5 minutes (you can make half of the recipe for you both). Then to make it sweet we use condensed milk until we think is sweetened enough, but you can also use sugar. after that, you just have to let it boil until get thicker. When put in the bowls, sprinkle cinnamon powder above the arroz doce. I hope you like it 💜 (you can put cloves in the cooking too)

Ohhhh! It makes me so so happy to see you guys cooking Arroz con Leche! I'm from Spain and my dad would make it many times for me and my brothers when we were kids. Yes, it's best to leave it to rest after cooked, for a bit and eat it after the rice had time to soak well all the flavors and of course, now in Summer is best cold :P I heard that, in general, people in Asia find the flavor extremely weird, since rice is mostly a savory dish over there and is weird to eat its sugar version? Hope next time you cook it you like it more, ahh! I would suggest less cinnamon, it can be a bit overpowering, as well to avoid bitterness to make sure the lemon peel has the least as possible of the white layer under the yellow skin. Love all your videos, I'm such a huge fan :) And so happy for you guys that you found a place to live that you like more! :)
