That CAT 349 is beauty ! I have to say, it's bigger O' scale cousin is probably one of my favorite models. However, I cannot believe the amount of realism CCM was able to give this 1/87 piece. Must be they can achieve really fine detail using the brass instead of die-cast metal....especially the hydraulic piping ! In-case I do not comment again before12/25, happy holidays !
Love the Cat 349 almost bought one myself... love the longer stick on it to many model excavators have short sticks on them... the only brass 1/87 excavator i have is the Classic Mint Komatsu PC400

That is also an exceptional model. I do not own one, but I have seen them at trade shows
