Hej Moa, just nu njuter jag av 12 smoky one, vet ejhur de andra är, men.. det sägs att 12 or är bättre än 10 or. Jag föredrar gamla 10 an insin gamla förpackning då ja tror att det är mer smak i den jmf med de nya. Din åsikt Moa?
I think it is unfortunate that Benriach and Benromach both went for redesigns and have ended up looking more like one another (although I am glad the latter dropped the "chicken scratch graffiti" from their bottles!). Both now have labels more like Soviet vodka...
I have been making that very point for months now. The last thing Benromach wants is that punters will get confused between them and the similar sounding Benriach, which is a few miles up the road. "I know!", said the marketing guys.! "Let's come out with almost identical bottle designs. That will do it!"
Not a fashionable malt that is really well known. It has never made my list to buy. It will be surprising if it doesn't end up chill filtered after the change in ownership.
When I just started my whisky journey Benriach 5 was amazing, so I think the smokey 10 will be my next purchase. Thats for the great review!
