Lindsey should have played quarter notes on the bass drum, while holding the triplette swing between the hats and ride cymbals. It would have gave that old school sanctified beat, just like the album.

“The Condition of Your Heart Determines Your Perception!
God teaches everyone about the Kingdom, but He seals the revelation in parables from those that do not have the right heart, so they do not understand what He is saying. They have eyes, but can’t see.. their hearts make them blind to God.
“Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not,” (Jeremiah 5:21).
Jesus does not waste His time with hardhearted people. He does not give mysteries or cast pearls before arrogant and religious people, who will turn around and fight Him, like the religious leaders did during His earthly ministry.
“Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you,” (Matthew 7:6).
I was always shocked when people that I taught and ministered to for years, would suddenly betray and walk away, until the day the Lord revealed to me that their hearts were hardened from the beginning. Hardhearted people always question the process.. “I just don’t understand this...” “I’m struggling with that...” “I need to repent for attacking you in this area..” These people betray when personal correction takes place. I saw this happen with a young man who followed my ministry for 3 years. He despised the process that God was taking him through, betrayed, and lost everything that God blessed him with, through my life and ministry.
It is very sad to see people who are too arrogant to see the condition and perception of the evil in their heart. Religion can’t circumcise your heart, in fact, many times it adds to its hardness. Fully surrendering your heart to God is the only way for Him to circumcise it!! We must diligently work on our hearts, otherwise, we forfeit our faith and break rank with the Lord..!” ~David E. Taylor~

    Part 2
These unhealthy spiritual conditions are not readily recognized, because they are hidden from the natural eyes, and discerned spiritually. Therefore, when a Christian is carnal and in the flesh, they can’t see because the carnal mind blinds you to the things of the spiritual realm, and the flesh veils that world from you by creating spiritual blindness. However, there is a way of escape from these things!! The Bible says, “Wherby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that be these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust,” (2 Peter 1:4). It says in 1 Corinthians 10:13, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
He will always make a way to escape! He promises in His Word that He will make a way for you to overcome these BIG THREE IN THE WORLD THAT SATAN IS TRYING TO CONSTANTLY USE TO KILL YOU SPIRITUALLY AND TAKE YOUR SALVATION!
When David sinned, he said, “Restore unto me the JOY OF THY SALVATION; and uphold me with thy free spirit,” (Psalm 51:12). If it must be prayed for to be restored, it can be lost. As I see in the church at large today, the joy of His salvation in the Body of Christ, has been lost! We must reclaim this in the believer’s life!
“Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation,” (Habakkuk 3:18).
When you are really saved, there’s a “joy” you possess about your salvation! Joy is just one of the healthy signs of a saint’s salvation! Here are some others:
•The Garment of Praise (Isaiah 61:3).
•The Garment of Salvation (Isaiah 61:10).
•The Joy of the Lord (Nehemiah 8:10).
•The Joy of His Salvation - Rejoicing (Psalm 51:12; 132:16).
•The Robe of Righteousness (Job 29:14; Isaiah 61:10).
    •Being Spiritually Minded (Romans 8:5-7; Ephesians 4:23).
•A Prayer life - Calling upon God - To Awake through Prayer of Repentance - Abiding in the Word of God. (John 15:7).
•Walking in the Love of God (Ephesians 5:2).
    •Being Merciful - Tenderhearted/Forgiving (Ephesians 4:32).
•The Baptism of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 3:11; Luke 3:16; Acts 1:5,8).
•The Baptism of Fire (Matthew 3:11; Luke 3:16; Psalm 104:4).
    •Faith - a Heart that Believes (Romans 10:9-10).
    •Confession of Faith with the Mouth (Matthew 17:20; 21:21; Mark 11:23; 2 Corinthians 4:13).
    •Being Just - Justice (Micah 6:8).
Keep the garment (gown) of salvation on saints. Then go beyond this to putting on the robe righteousness!! God gives you a gown of salvation, but a robe of righteousness! There’s a distinction!! These garments can be spotted by the flesh and in your feast of charity (Jude 1:12,23). Value your salvation people of God and stay saved! When I was saved as a young teenager, the Lord gave me this joy and value of salvation, the value of being saved! I see this value leaving the Church!! WE MUST BRING APPRECIATION AND HONOR BACK FOR OUR SALVATION THAT THE LORD HAS WROUGHT!!

    Part 1
    THE KNOWLEDGE OF SALVATION
“To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,” (Luke 1:77).
“SPIRITUAL DEATH” IN THE BELIEVER’S LIFE
If you’re spiritually dead as a Christian, you’re “lost,” which means you’re not saved. Remember, the spiritually dead cannot enter Heaven, because death is not allowed there.
In the parable about the prodigal son leaving home for the lifestyle of the world, Jesus said after he repented and returned home, “For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry,” (Luke 15:24).
My point is that Christians don’t know how serious spiritual death is in their life! Some cannot even recognize it! When your spirit man is dead, it’s dead to the things of God. You can be dead while you are still alive, as 1 Timothy 5:6 says, “But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.”
What causes this spiritual death in a believer’s life?
“Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death,” (James 1:15). It starts with lust, from temptation, that leads to a finished process of sin. “For the wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23). Jesus said that one of the churches had a name that they were alive, but they were spiritually dead before God’s eyes!
“And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead,” (Revelation 3:1).
My question is are you spiritually alive or dead?! According to the New Testament, the Bible is not saying that you just die spiritually when you sin, because of the lust from the world, but it’s from a finished process of sin that comes through a prolonged or continual sinful lifestyle.
Another thing the Bible says contributes to spiritual death is: “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace,” (Romans 8:6).
The solution is repentance and the work of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:13; Galatians 5:16). If you’re backslidden, repent and return to God, like the prodigal son did and God will wake you up spiritually! Come out of the world!! My point is you can’t go to heaven in a state of spiritual death! It’s important that a believer recognize their true spiritual condition. It takes spiritual discernment to know your true spiritual state.
The Bible talks about other spiritual conditions that are not as bad as the state of being spiritual dead. These spiritual problems and unhealthy spiritual conditions in one’s walk with God are:
    •Spiritual Blindness (Matthew 13:13-15; 15:14; Romans 11:7-8, 25; 2 Corinthians 3:14; 4:4; Ephesians 4:18; Revelation 3:17; Isaiah 29:10; 42:18-20; 56:10).
    •Spiritually Poor (Revelation 3:17).
    •Spiritual Nakedness (Revelation 3:17; 16:15; 2 Chronicles 28:19).
•Spiritually Dull of Hearing (Matthew 13:13-15; Hebrews 5:11).
    •Spiritually Dumb (Isaiah 56:10).
•Spiritual Babies When You should be More Mature Spiritually: In other words, having stunted growth, by being carnal, and walking as fleshly minded men walk (John 16:12; 1 Corinthians 3:1-3; Hebrews 5:12-14; 1 Peter 2:2). Spiritual Heart Waxed Callous (Matthew 13:15; Isaiah 6:10).
    •Spiritually Hard Hearted (Psalm 95:8; Proverbs 28:14; Ezekiel 3:7; Mark 3:5; 6:52; 8:17; 16:14; Hebrews 4:7).
•Spiritual Heart of Unbelief - No Faith (Hebrews 3:12).
•Spiritual Heart of Dead Faith - Faith Without Works (James 2:14-26).
    •Being Slothful (Proverbs 12:24,27; 15:19; 18:9; 19:15,24; 21:15; 24:30; 26:13-15; Ecclesiastes 10:18; Matthew 25:26; Romans 12:11; Hebrews 6:12).
    •Being Lukewarm (Revelation 3:15-16).
•Hatred - Nobody who hates his brother has eternal life abiding in him... Any man that hates his brother abides in death (1 John 2:9,11; 3:15; 4:20).
    •Lack of Praise - Depression (Isaiah 61:3).
•Lack of Prayer - Prayerlessness - Not Calling Upon God (Isaiah 43:22; 64:7; James 4:2).
These are all unhealthy signs in a believer’s life that show they are not necessarily dead spiritually, but they are on the way! There are many more mentioned throughout the Bible, but these are just a few. A Christian’s spiritual life is of utmost importance!
THE BIG THREE IN THE WORLD
THE BIBLE TALKS ABOUT THESE THREE THINGS IN THE WORLD THAT KILL YOUR SPIRIT MAN AND CAUSE SPIRITUAL DEATH AFTER GETTING SAVED!
These three are the big ones that Lucifer and Satan used to tempt Adam and Eve to sin, to invoke their death, and kill them spiritually. God told them the day they ate and disobeyed Him that they would surely die. “… thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die,” (Genesis 2:17). Every day, Christians are dying spiritually from these three big things, and don’t know it..!
“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world,” (1 John 2:16).
1). The Lusts of The Flesh
2). The Lust of The Eyes
    3). The Pride of Life
These are the three temptations he used to kill Eve. When she “saw” (lust of the eyes) that the tree was good for food (lust of the flesh to eat) and a tree desired to make one wise (pride of life).
    SPIRITUAL DEATH THROUGH EATING
    “The Importance Through Fasting"
When the first man and women didn’t abstain from eating certain things, and ate what God told them not to, it contributed to their spiritual death! Abstinence from food, which we call fasting, is a part of your spiritual life. If we can die from eating, which is the lust of the flesh, then it’s right that obeying the command from God in fasting contributes to our spiritual life, when it’s done right and in humility!! Consider this: the first Adam was tempted to eat, ate, and then died spiritually… but when the last Adam (Jesus) was tempted by the Tempter to eat and didn’t, He remained alive spiritually! That’s why you feel so alive spiritually when you fast!
SPIRITUAL DEATH COMES WHEN A PERSON ALLOWS HATRED IN THEIR LIFE AND HEART
Hatred, the opposite of love, is another bad vice that God’s Word said is an indication of spiritual death. The Bible says he that hates his brother abides in death and has no eternal life abiding in him. This means he is spiritually dead!! Cain murdered his brother and is known as that wicked one! This murderous heart was developed through jealousy of his brother, that turned into hatred, and led to him murdering his brother.
This was the big three Satan used over her in the garden. This is how we fell, but there is redemption in the Lord even if you are spiritually dead.
The Bible says, “… Awake thou that sleepest (speaking of spiritual death), and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light,” (Ephesians 5:14). The prodigal son said I will rise from here. You must wake up and become aware of your state, repent and return, and you must arise from that place of sin that caused the spiritual death (Luke 15:17-18).
