- this is a video Tribute for my cat Micki...he died yesterday and i still can't believe it i made this video for him cause i miss him soooo much he was the best cat ever and i wish i could turn the time back to cuddle him again and say goodbye cause i don't really had the chance to do it he died at the vet when no one from my family was there :(
I just recently had to have my cat of 23 years Euthanized. She was very old and tired. She was always with me since I bought my house. Even when I worked on customer's cars she would sit nearby and watch. She loved travelling, and went with me everywhere I went. I miss flying with her, and her bed is still in my plane's passenger seat. I feel there is a huge hole in my life now and I don't feel it will ever go away. She was the closest thing to a child I may ever have. I realize this video is old, but my condolences on your loss Miss.

This reminded me of my cat.. He passed away just last year.. when i was just 7 years old.. I found him in the street.. when it was just a kitten. it was nearly run over by a car .. but thanks goodness it wasn't because it was too little.. So i took him home with me i fed him and cleaned him a little.. I named her Luca .. Though it was my dog's name who passed away.. Luca and I shared great moments.. He slept next to me and helped me wake up in the morning by licking my face.. He would play the Yarn.. and sometimes my hair. the routine went on for 4 years... Until he slid out of our house and into the backyard my Husky was on the loose.. but thank God .. Northwind did nothing to him.. till he jumped over the fence.. Lots of stray Dogs.. I let him go because i thought he will find his way back home ... 2 hours passed i was worrying where he is.. Till my Friend Lauren told me that a Cat was found dead.. It was said to have been run by a car.. It was brought on the sidewalk.. Lauren and I went there... I saw a cat wounded ... badly..Blood covering it's body.. I almost collapsed when I saw it's collar.. LucaC I bought it for him the day after I found him I personally Designed it.. Luca's eyes were still open.. Hot tears were running down my face.. I took him.. He was wrapped around in a blanket.. I took him home.. the we took him to the Vet.. But He was Dead on Arrival.. It broke my heart in to smithereens.. I just prayed the Luca may rest in peace..Now i am 12 years old.. and iave a new cat..Which i named Luca II in remembrance of him.. I still can't forget him.. and i'm crying right now in typing this...
Well maybe Luca and Micki Find each other.. though In Heaven..
They leave so many footprints in our hearts, they will always stay in our hearts. You gave Micki 17 beautiful years filled with love. Thank you for the video.
Thank you...It won't help to get over the loss of a pet, but I think it helps a lot knowing there are other people out there feeling the same :)
Thank you everyone for your kind words and sharing your sad and happy moments with your pets with me. I appreciate every single one of them! When I made this video I only did it as a tribute for Micki. Now, it turned out to be like a message to everyone who has pets to cherish and enjoy every second we have with them and also share the pain we feel once we lost them. 6 years have passed and Micki continues to live in my heart and he still makes me smile every now and then when I think of him:)

You will see him again. He is in heaven watching over you. He was clearly your best friend, and you were his. It hurts to know that you will never see your best friend on this earth again, but know that they are still with you. Micki will never truly be gone if you keep him in your thoughts and remember the happy times you had with him! Our pets leave permanent pawprints on our hearts. :)

This video, and your reply, made me cry. I lost our family cat when I was 11 (she was 12 in human years), so was like a sister. She was taken to the vet whilst we were on holiday: she'd always had a lump from birth, but it turned cancerous and nothing could have been done. I've had other cats since, but there will never be another Mitty.....

My cat Tina Louise, who was a true family member and best animal friend to my mom and I lived to the age of 21!!!! We have very fond memories of our beloved family member and best animal friend!!!! Her paw prints are forever in our hearts!!!!RIP Tina Louise!!!!😻😼
Just remember everyone, keep in mind something. Animals love us unconditionally, we care for them, and they know this. They show a love that none of us could even imagine, which raises a question....do animals have souls? I would say they do, animals have their own unique personality traits, making them special. The same with us humans, we are all unique in many ways. So I honestly believe, that our beloved animals, are waiting for us to come home in heaven. Ready to be in our arms forevermore.

I guess you'll always remember your first pet! I read a really good book written by a vet called 'tell me where it hurts' and he said it's amazing, how people can tell him everything and every single little detail about their first pet, from head to toe, even how their fur felt on different parts of their body, the noises their made and even their smell!
Today i lost my cat roxy at 19 years of age.She passed away of heart failure and the vet said there was nothing they could do for her and best best thing was to put her to sleep.It feels like a big part of me died today and the house is so strange without her jumping on my lap to give her a stroke and cuddle.It hurts so bad that a little fluffy ball can bring so much joy into your life. i cant bring myself to move her bed or her drinking and eating bowl.Getting her cremated and scatter her ashes in the garden.R.I.P Roxy 24/11/15 we will never ever forget you.

I have a tuxedo cat named Pooter. If I fall or cry out in pain (I have MS), she runs to me and talks a blue streak. It feels like my mother's spirit watching over me. She is so sweet and attentive. My mother was a registered nurse. Pooter was found as a stray in the same town where my mum died and my sister resides. She kept jumping into my sister's car at the bank drive-up and getting put out of the car. My sis brought her home because she thought there was some purpose to the cat's behavior. When my husband and I paid Judy a visit, Pooter jumped on his lap and threw her arms around his neck. They have been inseparable since then. She jumps into his arms from the floor. We live in Monroe, WA and my sister lives 175 miles/3.5 miles apart. Lovely photos and presentation and music.

My cat lived to 16, loved him very much. We're fortunate we had our cats for such a long time, and they are fortunate we gave them wonderful homes and love. I have had several cats since Woofer, and I love them too, but he'll always be the one I remember the most.
Mickie looks exactly like my so much beloved Flitzi who we had to put asleep forever on Monday 😭😭😭😭. It makes me cry of pain all the day. We loved her so much

I have always believed that when we "cross over" to the other side we will see our loved ones, including our pets who made our life more fulfilling and enjoyable. Life is a journey and our pets make the trip all the more worthwhile.

I lost my 13 year old cat, Jerry, yesterday.It is absolutely killing me, I miss him so much. Life is never going to be the same without him. His hind legs were going on him and when taken to vet they told me his liver was enlarged, possible tumour. He was put to sleep 18th Dec 2017. Everywhere I look I remember him sitting there etc. It is so painful to lose a pet. 😢😢
I to be had my little tuxedo ktty pass 3 years a go now. there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think if him and miss him terribly. we went through roungh times together. he was born nn my sons arms but eventually became very busy I'll with urinary blockage. had his surgery, he was fine for awhile and then developed a cough and difficulty breathing. took him to er one night to find he had congestie heart failure. brought him home with lots of meds. he hated it. but wen I watched my babe panic trying to breath, I took him in and held him tight and kept telling him he is the best and I'll c him again, and they put him to sleep. I took his body home and buried him. hardest thing I ever did. so hang n there xx remember the good things. all my love to birchbark foundation. could have done it without their be help. they are the best. in loving memory to my little chaos. mommy will always love you my baby boy. your kitty is waiting for u. so sorry for u lose

I just put my best buddy to rest today. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do and watch. She gave me 8 great years. Unfortunately cancer doesn't discriminate. :(

I really appreciate you reaching out to me. It's helped being able to talk to different people who know what I'm going through and understand the special bond we have with our cats. Yeah you just expect them to come around the next corner:( Even though I'm still sad about the way Micki passed away, I think he's somewhere better now and because he died 2 other cats have the chance to live a life full of happiness with me and my family just how he did :) This is why I say a new cat would help getting over the loss. OMG this is so sad! :( I know exactly how you feel, especially how your wife feels now! I couldn't stop crying for days and took a day off work. It's been nearly 3 years since Micki died and I still think I see him every now and then :S It might sound weird, but get yourself and your wife a new kitten or cat real soon. It'll NEVER EVER replace your little skygirl but they surely help to get over her and a new cat will have a lovely home :)
There is nothing really that'll help ease the pain except knowing there are people that understand you. It's been 4 years since Micki passed away and I'm still balling my eyes out when I watch his video(mainly because it reminds me of how it was when he died, not because it still hurts). But it does get easier and all of my memories about him make me smile :) And I'm sure he's up there somewhere playing with Jackson and a bunch of other furry mates ;)

yeah same, until we had to face it! Sometimes when he was asleep I was looking at him and thought: 'He can't die, he's been with me my whole life!' I always thought he'd spend the rest of my life with me, even though I kinda knew it won't happen. You just can't imagine a life without them
Thank you so much for posting this video. My cat Lucy, who I bottle fed her when she was one day old, died two years ago from feline dementia at the age of 15. Lucy died in my arms three months after she lost her mind. Not one day goes bye when I don't think about her. Thank you again. Janice M

I lost my beloved AJA(April 20,2003--October 26,2015) last week and the pain is at times unbearable.I have had to excuse myself many times to go in the bathroom and cry over losing her-I know men are supposed to be tough and not cry but I don't care. I loved her so much and she was so sweet to me that crying is just something that comes over you and you cannot control the overwhelming emotions you feel.She had kidney failure and was very sick and couldn't eat or drink water-even her favorite homemade chicken and filet mignon which she got on special occasions she wouldn't even touch.When I said goodbye to her and watched her leave this world I felt a part of my heart and soul go with her.I know now that she is no longer in pain and is with my other beloved little angel sweetheart baby girl Pomeranians Tiki 2(1993-2003) and the immortal Tiki(1979-1993).For all who have lost a beautiful soul you are the only ones who can understand the pain and sadness that you just cannot control sometimes-God bless all animal lovers and owners they make the world a better place to live in.

hi there, I have a fur ball silver tabby, part white around his neck all around his belly,white paws,v the rest of him is grey stripped with shades of that color,with slight tints of ginger around the ears,,,a loveable fur ball,unfortunately, Tiger has leukemia ,the vet said he would have to be put to sleep,but I said he deserves a chance to live, the rest of his life out,you would never think he has leukemia,,he is playfully darn cute, and extreamly loveable, he gives me so much love,and I return it every day,that he lives,he is eating and drinking well,,and he loves dreamies,and vitacat,that we get at at aldi stores, he goes mad for them,my son,lost his tuxedo cat ,a few months ago, and was broken up over it,still finds it hard,trying to except that she's gone,as my first cat Milo before Star tuxedo,cat,and my cat now Tiger,he had kidney trouble,so its just me my son and Tiger,now,sorry for long comment,its sad when you lose an animal or family member,you cat looked a bit like our star,beautiful,take care,🐈🐱

Im so sorry for your loss & heartache my son and I understand it so well, we learned our sweet girl had very aggressive type of cancer, prognosis "maybe" a year, that was 4 weeks ago, now she is gone How hard after 8 wonderful years she gave us. her bond with my son was unique. That day we embraced her trying to tell her how much we love her is never enough Her sister-cat is mourning, and people just don't understand our grief they do not understand the love of this family Thank You for sharing

Paws4Life ... Please accept my most sincere condolences at the loss of your beloved Micki. I have heard it said that a cat is an animal that will love you more than he loves himself... I believe that cats (and dogs) are really Angels sent from Heaven to teach us how to be more human and compassionate. They come to bless us with their presence, for a while. Then they return to Heaven. Such small creatures, so soft and warm. They give so much love and comfort. They become our friends, confidants, companions. They are our family, our children. And when their little lives are over, we miss them so very very much. The hole in our lives seems endless. The tears never stop. It does not seem fair that this should be. That these small creatures who give so much, for so little, should stay in our lives for such a short time. Take comfort in the knowledge that they await us beyond the Bridge. And do not give up ... there is always another one who needs a home. Lost, hungry, and needy. Keep the door to your heart open ... let there always be room for one more. Let the next little Angel bless you with its presence for a while, until it too must return to Heaven and be an Angel once more. May God bless them all for their unconditional love for us mere humans...

My beautiful Frankie, my beautiful Tuxedo kitty, died 2 years ago at 19 years old, and I miss him dreadfully, mostly because, the last few years of his life, I left him a lot, though I hope he knew how very much I loved him, because when I was home, I always picked him up in my arms and rocked him and said, "Don't you worry, little fella guy, Momma will always come back to you, I love you, Frankie Buddy!!"
And I always did come back him!!
Until one day I called my beautiful sweet Frankie, but he didn't come running to me, and I knew that something was wrong!!
I called for him again, and this time I heard a gutteral meow, and there came my darling Frankie, struggling to get to me but using the last bit of strength had!!
I picked him up and rocked him back and forth, but very gently this time, and put him into a little box that I had prepared for him with a soft sweatshirt hoody lining the box.
I took him with me to my friend's house so he wouldn't die alone!!
I saw him do the death stretch, which broke my heart!!
I petted him very softly, but it seemed to bother him, so Ieft him in peace. I went to bed and woke early the next morning, and found my beautiful Frankie gone to his fellow angels!!
I can hardly stand to think of how my beautiful boy died, and how I was gone so often, and I fear that I may have killed him because I was gone so much!!
I will never, ever forgive myself for this....
Dearest Frankie, please forgive Momma, someday I will come back to you forever, and I will never ever leave you!!

This is the story of my stray cat friend: i was outside my house walking around to breathe some fresh air when i suddenly saw a poor cat with barely any fur on her body. She only had fur on her head, tail and her paws, i approached her, she nearly ran away but i let her smell my finger, and she licked it. At that moment i had this special feeling that she would be my friend for her life. I decided to call her "Furless" Everyday i came downstairs to feed her and pet her, until 1 day, she came into my house gate and came inside. I was surprised to see her, but as she was a stray i couldnt confine her in my house so i had to let her stay outside. I did my daily routine to feed her and she always waiting for me outside my house :) it was really nice of her but a few neighbours complained that she also went into their house. So i had to keep her and now shes a happy cat :)
Also Furless has grown back her fur :)

We knew each other when we were very young aged, she was a cat little friendly girl. She ate everything i gave her and thats when our friendship began. We spent alot of time in our lives 2gether, as years passed i met more cat buddies, Furless and Napkie. I loved them all massively and equally. Cancan was the oldest can in my neighborhood so she was like the queen of the area. This year Cancan was an elderly cat, furless and adult and napkie an almost full grown adult. They always waited for me at the carpark entrance at night for me to return, until that night when Cancan nvr showed up, i thought someone could have taken her into a safe home but i never heard of anyone in my neighborhood own a stray cat, as more nights passed she never turned up except furless & napkie. So she had already left ;-; And i could never forget her. I wish cats had the same lifetime/lifespan as humans approximately 90 years. RIP
And i never got a chance to say goodbye to her

I feel your pain. My Father passed away last Feb 2016 and he was in bad condition getting thinner because of recent teeth operations. He progressively became worse and in sept 2016 he had numerous episodes of falling down and neuropathy in his arms and body. The doctors couldnt diagnose it but it was from the teeth implants from his dentist. If your in your 60s and considering new teeth I would reconsider this option.
My Father passed away on Feb 2016 after a long disease and struggle from Neuropathy and my cat saw that. After that my cat was never the same. He became traumatized when the coroner came and picked his body up from our home. After that day my Cat Ricki never really went into his room to see what was going on. Only later on he did gradually to go back and see the bedroom there was no one there.
My Cat was diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus on April 10th 2017 after a X-ray found he had bone chips on his hips from falling and also wobbling when he used his cat litter. His condition became worse the following Monday. After work I took him to see the Vet and decided to leave him there overnight. That was a bad mistake on my part, I should have taken him home.
He had iv tubes and was on some electrolytes overnight. The next day after work, the Vet urgently called me and said your cat Ricki is having breathing difficulties and also due to the age of 15 the treatment was not working. In my mind he was suffering and I really thought he was in bad condition so my decision was to put him to sleep.
I was there after they injected him and spent around 20 mins in the room petting his head, he already passed on but he knew I was there because the fluids from the Vet started to come out from his nose. He passed away.
God Bless Ricki... He is in no more pain anymore.

MICKI WAS SO LOVED!!! And continues to be well into infinity.
I had a terrific cat that got cancer and I had to put her to sleep. She got an abscess and couldn't chew her food so I fed her chicken broth, Now I have a really wonderful cat with congestive heart failure. She is taking medicine and we are just trying to make the rest of her time with us happy.
You have given your cat a wonderful life, you are great for that!

I have gone through this process many times. I remember them all, I miss them like they were here a moment ago. I will always get another, There will eventually come a time they outlive me.
Im so sorry to hear about your cat, and i know how it feels cause i lost my dog a few months ago then my moms cat passed not to long ago. But their in a better place where no one can harm them and they're greeted with more love then us as pet owners could ever give or show them. so cheer up because god is taking good care of them. I am going to have to put my Oscar of 16 years down soon. Mouth cancer on his lower jaw. I love him dearly. He is still eating alright for now. Can`t hug him enough. Feel this right down to my soul. I'm so sorry about your sweet cat. I lost my precious Finnie 4 years ago from bladder cancer. I still mourn him. I tell him there is a place in my heart that will always be his. He was 16.

The Video is 3 years old and meanwhile I have 2 'new' cats who are the cutest little furballs. I'm at a point where I look back and be happy about the time I had with Micki :)
That's so sad :( She must've been like your sister and even closer :( Dogs are so much like humans, that makes it even harder to let them go! It's funny how we never think about letting them go so early and it hits even harder when the time comes :( I'm really sorry for your loss!!!
He is forever in my Home as we had him cremated and cherish his memories forever.

I'm sorry for your loss. I see it's been 13 years but I'm sure you still think of your Micki.... putting a cat to sleep has been the absolute worst days of my life. I just put my last little baby to sleep 2 months ago. btw, Micki is waiting at the rainbow bridge...you will be reunited one day!! 🌈🌈

Unfortunately, they're not here anymore.
One died suddenly two years ago, she wasn't feeling very well and we brought her to the vet, two days later my mom came home and told me that she had died.
It kills me that I wasn't with her
My other angel died last year, she was 19 and I was 21, I had to put her to sleep, and I held her hand through her last moments, the worst moments of my life.

Once i have 16 cats and now i have 6... 10 died and the pain i got from tht was unbelievable and when i watch these kinda video's i got the same pain nva ending....
I reckon missing pets are worse than the ones we had to let go. You just can't let go, while you know they're well when they're passed away. I'm really hoping that your cat is well and will come back soon!
Oh gosh, I so understand your feeling. We had two, on past away in 2013...and we still have problem adjusting to her having to go to heaven. Now her brother had join her. So hard, because all pets are SO much more then just pets; they are family
