I want the indefinite swimming underwater from Twilight Princess to come back. I LOVE exploring underwater! The Lakebed Temple is probably my favorite dungeon in the game! 😁😁😁😁😁😁
Hoping for a new Tarrey Town style quest. Best side quest in BOTW. If they can't do something wholesome, I still hope it'll be grand like the original. Going everywhere finding people to fill the town before the wedding was incredible.

Imagine an item crafting system that allows the game to be open in a way similar to A Link Between Worlds, you get to choose the order you open up items and can even open up temporary versions of everything if you're willing to do a bit of grinding, so progression is limited but still variable. Meanwhile dungeons would contain parts for a more permanent version of said equipment so it still feels like you're unlocking something.
Nah, too much. Imagine that in Breath; 1 hour of grind fighting them both - and you get ,,,,,, a Darknut Helmet, Darknut-Lynel Battle Axe Star Piece, some Lynel horns and maybe a worn wallet. Yep, your shiny wonderful new weapon breaks in the next 5 minutes.
I think it’d be neat if Tarrey Town, or really any village, got lifted into the sky, Tarrey Town is just already on a separated land mass so it seems like a perfect candidate. It would be interesting to see how the npc’s would react to being stuck in the sky
Maybe it's just me trying to put something into words, to make sense out of my emotions but, here goes. Last week, my grandmother passed, and it's been hard to process, she raised me, she was always there, she taught me what I would need, to be who I am today. And she was the one who shared my love of the zelda franchise. We would spend hours on the classic games, especially adventure of link and link to the past. When the games switched to 3d we still enjoyed them but she wasn't able to do as much on them. So when I brought over breath of the wild for the first time she was so happy, we'd find korok puzzles, explore the map, she really enjoyed the puzzle shrines since they didn't involve reflexes she no longer had. And while she never was invested in the who or why, she'd listen to me talk about the story and lore I'd learned from the community on TH-cam.
If that is indeed aGleeok on the Great Bridge of Hylia, then I hope that bring back every boss from Zelda 1 & 2. How cool would it be to face Aquamentus at the coliseum?
random, but i like how you use they/them along with she/her for fi. as a she/they agender person it makes me smile :) one thing i'm personally hoping for is the korok forest/lost woods being in the sky. in wide shots the great deku tree seems to be missing, and there's the one skyland shot of link climbing a large root that wraps along the side of the island, and the same glowy specs in the air from the lost woods surround the area too. it'd make sense to protect both the deku tree/koroks and the master sword's pedestal by raising it to the sky, hopefully out of ganondorf's reach. i also RLY hope we get more content/lore on fi, even if not by name, like you said. i love your idea of the arbiter's grounds rising, too. it would be SO cool to have any structures buried under the desert emerge. i understand it's a desert and supposed to be barren, but i would love to have more to explore. i also really hope that we see some evidence of a rebuilding hyrule - expansions to villages, more npcs, anything that shows us that both time has passed and that the kingdom is working towards uniting again.
I’ve mentioned this before, but not sure if it was HG channel. I would like more interactions between the different races. Maybe some some of training school so the different races can learn fighting techniques from each other. Also see travelers other than Hylians wondering around. And more camps and maybe a few more villages too.
I personally was thinking that some of the mountains ⛰ would rise, leaving behind colossal craters. Some could potentially fill with rain water 💧 & others could reveal hidden structures. Also imagine if Satori Mountain & the Deku tree are in the sky as well...the latter could be why we see Link climbing a tree 🌳 root
Imagine if you could jump down the Yiga hideout pit and there'd be dungeon. That'd be soooo cool. Or imagine a dungeon or an entrance to Hyrule's undergrounds behind the Statue of the Eighth Heroine. I would LOVE such changes to the overworld! And it doesn't even seem so far off, keeping in mind the reocurring theme of caves/the underground world we got to see throughout the teaser and the trailers. Obviously, with all the sky islands there will be plenty of new stuff to discover. But I really hope by either lifting up parts of the world or by altering them in a certain way, we will be able to revisit BotW's world and be fully invested and interested in it. Do you guys have more cool ideas for places we know from BotW that would be perfect for that? :)
One thing I think we are going to have in this game, is building houses and cities, that was something they wanted to put in the first one, so we'll probably see it in the new one. Something that can also be impremented in this game, is those minipeople, maybe a small town and you shrinks to go there.
Bro, I love your content so much that I have had this video on pause and I am stuck at work waiting to play it. Props on teaming with Moxie Watts and props for all the work you do to make top tier videos. One day I am going make on the grab a snack and drink segment of your videos. And if not I'll still be here enjoying the show. I am going to have to join the Discord server. It is a great time to be a Zelda fan.
I would love to see hand-to-hand combat. It works well as a last resort for the weapon durability stuff. If all your weapons break, you can still fight. Just punch the monsters in the face. Preferably with a way to learn new skills like different punches, throws, guard breakers, etc.
Why have I never heard anyone else say this? Kind of genius. And bringing back rolling in some way too. This could bring so many different challenges to the game. I can already see the "Can you beat TOTK without using weapons?" videos ahanshdb
I’m hoping that we can swim under the surface even if we have to use items. I also hope castle town is restored, and we have winged mounts. Also, would you ever consider putting your videos on Spotify?
just based on the time that seems to have passed since Botw it doesn't seem nearly long enough for them to really have restored anything but we may see them in the process of restoring places. Which I personally feel would make it seem more lively.
Idk if any ground areas will have been restored given the emphasis on just how many enemies there are in the game. Towns simply aren't safe and I reckon many more will have been abandoned/destroyed by Ganondorf's forces, with some new towns being made on the outskirts of the map and on the floating islands.
I think it would be cool to see towns be totally restored over time. Like, at the start of the game they are destroyed, and then after that, the towns slowly get rebuilt into a complete town.
castle town is fully destroyed and ganondorf is still in the castle. old hyrule town will never be used again but a new hyrule town is very possible imo. like tarrey town in botw a town that develops though missions and battles in hyrule.
I wonder if Ganondorf is being held under the goddess Hylia statue that used to be in Skyloft. I wonder if that will rise into the sky again. I wonder if we'll visit the ruins of Skyloft.
So much love for Twilight Princess! It’s actually still my favorite Zelda game, I just found it so fun and charming. BTOW is a close second and gives a different type of satisfaction because of how much freedom it offers, but TP (for the most part) was able to competently balance the excitement of exploration alongside a linear story. Cool vid as always, excited to see what TOTK has in store for us :)
It's funny how I always see the totk trailer as advertisement in your video, never skipped it. One detail in the German version, Zelda is talking to multiple people to send link their power, not a single one. Would be interesting what the original japanese is saying
Something I honestly really missed in BotW was not being able to drive underwater. I'm not a big fan of underwater levels, but there was such a wasted potential in BotW :
I hope they are bringing Fi back. Ok, she can be really nerve wracking but I do like her. Midna is my favorite companions of all Zelda Games but Fi deserves more tribute, she’s basically the master sword, we took her almost on every adventure in the series. What a essential character.
I watched a video maybe a few days or so after the Nintendo direct and someone said something about Nintendo stating on one of their websites that TotK will have Nintendo Switch Online features. Maybe we will have a crafting system in which we can share blueprints of weapons we build with other players or something along those lines. Not sure if what I said above is true or happening at all so I’d say it’s just a rumor for now.
Just replayed ocarina on switch online...first played when i was 8 years old and holds some of my best gaming memories (never could beat the water temple until I found a guide at best buy my mom bought for me) but the story and everything still holds as my favorite zelda game. I just hope TOTK has as epic of a story and feeling of scope and stakes as ocarina did..also the dark and scary nature that game had alpt of times
I hope to see dark stories again and lore in general that is not related to the main story (from npc, places, etc.) Also the possibility of having different endings in secondary missions, that would be cool
I've heard people mention they think the distorted vocalizations near the end of some trailers are starting to sound like a distorted Fi voice, and I can see that. I think it'd make sense if that was the case. :)
I would love it if they allowed you to repair your weapons if they bring back the weapons breaking, other than that I also like your hidden skills idea and skulltulas would be nice and creepy if they brought it back
Everytime I see Link taking out the wheel shaped thing from the swamp, I see the plug being taking off of a bath and imagine the swamp will be drained. Just a thing my brain does.
Some people have been a bit critical of these newer Zelda games, especially those who have been long time fans of previous games. Breath of the wild however was such an important game for the franchise. It brought in new younger fans. Ya it doesn't mirror the previous games exactly, but this is where Totk could shine. Newer fans who previously didn't know about previous games could have a chance to experience something closer to original games. I never played the previous games but I love the stories told. I care as much as others about having more things to create a Loz experience that is both for new fans and past ones.
While I highly agreed on allowing to pet our animal companies like dogs and bringing back iconic enemies from the previous Zelda games, there are a few things I hope to be featured in Tears of the Kingdom: - A playable Princess Zelda and having her own adventures in Hyrule’s underground caverns - Bringing back Yunobo, Prince Sidon, Teba, and Gerudo Chief Riju from BOTW and Age of Calamity - in-depth exploring the Shiekah clan vs Yiga Clan conflict - Surface side quest where Link fights along side the Successors of the Champions (Yunobo, Sidon, Teba, and Riju) against Ganondorf’s army - Character development and growth - Underwater dungeons and gameplay Those are my hope for the upcoming Legend of Zelda installment.
Yeah I'd be a bit disappointed if they don't do anything with the champion descendants. With them all being skilled fighters and been pretty much the most fleshed out side characters from BOTW it would be a waste to do nothing.
Hey Hyrule Gamer, I have a little speculation, if you could let me know what you think. So the “tears of the kingdom” lean heavily toward the seven sages as far as we can tell. And the sages have always been involved with the master sword. The lore contradicts skyward sword in the aspect that the ancient sages made the master sword, but if the sages are just conduit for their higher power, then link turning the Godess sword into the Master sword could’ve technically been due to the sage’s power but not a physical “sage” (that one is a stretch for the creation of the master sword, but I just thought of that one. Now my main point those “tears” could be symbolic of spirits. What if you have to track down the resting places of the seven sages to gather their “spirit orbs” or whatever it may translate to in the sequel (of course a much larger role than the spirit orbs functionally, but a similar process of find the long dead sage and gaining their strength). If sages are “awakened” as the lore suggests. Then the power they hold isn’t their own, they’re just a conduit for the power. the “tears of the sages” may be a representation of the power that is given to the sages when they are divinely chosen to take the mantle. And if we’re gathering that power, maybe link will become the ultimate version of “the hero”. This thought I just had as I was typing, so it may not hold any weight because it’s off the top of my head, but If the hierarchy of the LoZ series is: three goddesses, triforce, sages (I guess Hylia could follow directly behind triforce because she had to lose her divinity to use it, meaning it’s inherently more powerful than her??? But I don’t need her in this theory anyways), so with Link being the chosen wielder of the triforce of courage, wouldn’t that place him above the sages in this hierarchy, and therefor, he may be able to take in that “sage power” idk, it may be fully stupid, but there might be something in there. Sorry if it’s a little convoluted, just something I had to write down while I’m listening or Zelda lore. Love your stuff bro! Edit: and of course, as outlandish as the above is with the “sage’s power”, we could on a simpler scale, be awakening the sages slumbering power ourselves so it may choose a new conduit to make a sage. Like the characters we met in BOTW that were decendants of champions, maybe they’re meant to be sages. 2nd edit: 4 sages from the four races we helped in botw, fifth sage, a Sheikah?? 6th sage, Hestu?? Then Zelda being 7. Edit 3: I just reached the end of this video, idk man, Fi cannot be dead, they built her up in Skyward sword and said she was going to sleep forever in the sword, keeping continuity in the universe as to why we have never heard of a spirit in the master sword in chronologically later entries. So in the memory scene where Fi speaks to Zelda, that could’ve just been left out if Fi just continues to not be a part of the story, as the sheikah already knew about the shrine of resurrection, they built it, why would Fi just be privy to this info and pop in for a few seconds just to peace out again forever.
I wonder if locations will sink underground, like how others lift into the sky? Maybe the colosseum will actually descend downwards deep underground, after all it isn't a zonai structure, but a Hylian one.
I want to see the abandoned ruins of Skyloft and go out and explore. I hope to find the Goddess Harp and we hope to see the giant goddess statue in the forgotten temple to rise up in the sky
For me I would like to see some challenge dungeons to find interesting gear or weapons. Also I too would like to know what has happened to Fi. Because in BotW not only did Zelda hear Fi, but Link did as well after you fully power up the Master Sword during the Master Trials DLC. Will we be repairing the Master Sword much like in Minish Cap where we had to repair the Picori Blade to become the Four Sword. I would also like a crafting, repair and upgrade system similar in Skyrim.
I think Fi might be in TotK. She's blue, and in the trailer, as Link is looking at the master sword, u see a blue glow. That might be Fi. Idk. Maybe she is just dead.
Holy crap! This is the first time I noticed the Twilight Princess Darknut fight is on the Light Medallion Icon. (Gimme a break, I'm usually trying not to die during this fight lol)
It would be cool if slashing weapons were less effective against Darknuts because it would add more finesse to the comat, and it would be realistic. Armor was used to combat swords, and axes and warhammers were used to combat armor. It doesn’t need to be added, and I’m not gonna be upset if it doesn’t do anything like that, but I think it would be cool
If Fi would somehow incorporate all the Link's that wielded the Master Sword and taught this Link abilities from those different times would be very interesting. Also, I would like a Hinox to throw some bombs like the originals did. :)
im starting to think those flying froggy things we have seen are actually malice mutated frogs..... i think we might be seeing the rat that got covered by it in the video..... im hoping they will be the Goriya from the adventures of link
Fi wasn’t the only being sealed in the Master Sword 🙂 I’m thinking that Ganondorf destroys half the sword to release the essence of Demise to either absorb him or revive him! Fi will most likely speak throughout the game in weakened cries through the Master Sword but once you start to reforge the sword with the sacred flames she starts to get stronger & once the Master Sword is returned to full power Fi will pop out “We meet again Master Link”
Maybe the shrines (the whole thing) will turn into armour for the monks and they rebirth the champions and divine beasts then divine beasts get upgraded with the towers on them.
I figured out an easy way to balance crafting vehicles/weapons and still let the game have progression. If there are dungeons, for each one beaten, you can add 1 more item to crafted vehicles/weapons
Can't wait for the game to come out its going to be a late birthday gift for myself since my birthday is this month and it doesn't come out until may I already have it preordered 🥰🥳
in dark forest there are 3 dragon head statues with dry leaves on them if you shoot it with a flame arrow it looks like the 3 headed dragon pls check it out
A repairing system does make a lot of sense though, especially since the Master Sword gets damaged and it is heavily assumed you would likely have to repair it. If you have to repair the Master Sword in this game, it would be a good idea for that concept to become a game mechanic for other weapons and items used in the game too. Skyward Sword already has done it, why not Tears of the Kingdom?? Also I'm shocked you didn't mention underwater exploration. Diving has been in every 3D Zelda game, except for Breath of the Wild. It's severely missed by a lot of fans, and I thought you've talked about this before right?? Is it because we're so close to launch (literally 2 months away) and there's maybe not enough time left for Nintendo to reveal or even mention it??
What is a new hope of yours following the latest TOTK trailer? 🤔🙏

@@HyruleGamer I disagree about the return of hidden skills though. If botw is any indication, we'll likely have our arsenal of skills pretty much from the get go and that'll be it. That's also an important factor for the whole games Design. Sprinkling hidden skills here and there would mess with the flow so please no
@@netweed09 list one Zelda game that doesn’t have weak points that you hit? and the music might be cheeey, but it’s there for a reason, it there so you feel like you’re actually winning and getting the upper hand.
I would love Akala Tower to be playable! I was very frustrated that I couldn't find a way in to explore.
Who's to say the labyrinths don't just rise up, but also flip upside down to reveal something new underneath? 😱
Perhaps!
As they did, they'd pour out a whole bunch of bones of the lost and monsters. That'd be a sight to see.
Erm or more logically, an entrance to an opening underground hmm?
I hope there is bread.
Now come on, let's be realistic!! I mean BREAD!? That's more sacred than the Triforce man 🤣
@@HyruleGamer Bread is the backbone of the Zelda series! How else would the economy function in Hyrule without it!!
Zelda already has a whole bakery on her 😩
@@TheBreadPirate I mean it was already in BotW I doubt they’d remove it
@@Vor1ki New types of bread, perhaps? Banana bread could work, or mix in some goron spice to make some kind of seasoned bread. I wouldn't turn down making garlic bread.
I like to imagine the Skull Lake rises to reveal either a water or spirit temple.
I hope we'll be able to explore the lands beyond the great canyon at the edge of the map from the first game.
That would be sweet!
This would be amazing!
twilight princess darknuts are my favorite video game enemy
3:25 "perhaps with a new terrifying and dominant enemy"... so a Lynel? :)
Something new pls
Also a cookbook that records the meals you’ve made
YES!
Imagine Darknut riding a Lynel (in the Colloseum) :3
Oh my god yes!
The hype seems to only be getting bigger for this game and I'm so here for it.
I think it’d be neat if Tarrey Town, or really any village, got lifted into the sky, Tarrey Town is just already on a separated land mass so it seems like a perfect candidate. It would be interesting to see how the npc’s would react to being stuck in the sky
I can't wait to see what event cause these islands to appear.
Climate change
PS I'm pretty sure it's safe to consider weapon and vehicle crafting as practically confirmed at this point.
random, but i like how you use they/them along with she/her for fi. as a she/they agender person it makes me smile :)
one thing i'm personally hoping for is the korok forest/lost woods being in the sky. in wide shots the great deku tree seems to be missing, and there's the one skyland shot of link climbing a large root that wraps along the side of the island, and the same glowy specs in the air from the lost woods surround the area too. it'd make sense to protect both the deku tree/koroks and the master sword's pedestal by raising it to the sky, hopefully out of ganondorf's reach. i also RLY hope we get more content/lore on fi, even if not by name, like you said.
i love your idea of the arbiter's grounds rising, too. it would be SO cool to have any structures buried under the desert emerge. i understand it's a desert and supposed to be barren, but i would love to have more to explore.
i also really hope that we see some evidence of a rebuilding hyrule - expansions to villages, more npcs, anything that shows us that both time has passed and that the kingdom is working towards uniting again.
still can't believe there's 2 months left since this game will come out, beyond hyped rn
I’ve mentioned this before, but not sure if it was HG channel. I would like more interactions between the different races. Maybe some some of training school so the different races can learn fighting techniques from each other. Also see travelers other than Hylians wondering around. And more camps and maybe a few more villages too.
you should make a video after the game comes out to see if any of your theories were correct. i think that would be interesting 😁
Oh I plan to do videos like that!
@@HyruleGamer yayyy can’t wait 😁
5:51 i dont know if anyone covered this or not but there is another green energy spiral by hyrule castle in this shot
I'd like to see the mogmas return. Tbh
Darknuts. I feel like they could make these extremely deadly. That would be amazing.
So excited! I managed to snag a preorder for the Collector’s Edition today!!!
Nice one!
All those enemies, if added, would add such a wide variety to already iconic botw enemies, and we definitely need crafting or repairing in totk
I hope to see dark stories again and lore in general that is not related to the main story (from npc, places, etc.)
Also the possibility of having different endings in secondary missions, that would be cool
I've heard people mention they think the distorted vocalizations near the end of some trailers are starting to sound like a distorted Fi voice, and I can see that. I think it'd make sense if that was the case. :)
I want towns in the sky and underground
Yes please!
Yes please!!
I would love it if they allowed you to repair your weapons if they bring back the weapons breaking, other than that I also like your hidden skills idea and skulltulas would be nice and creepy if they brought it back
Bring back some more scary enemies like Dead Hand, the Silent Realm enemies, Dezbreko, Deep Pythons.
I hope we get a friendly monster npc
Lol
Maybe even a Moblin who, say, gives us money and requests it remains a secret to everyone.
@@riokollivier Especially don't tell Kilton
That would be a really cool call back to the NES TLOZ!
I'd love it if big armies or bigger groups battle or work together against link or others

Naaaaahhh
Seriously, every time I see the Lomei labyrinths in the sky, I think the Borg are coming to Hyrule 😆Resistance is futile!

I hope they add some kind of area in the lost woods with a hole leading to a rotating tunnel ending on a door to the basement of a clocktower
I'm glad you mentioned petting animals but frankly, it should have been the biggest thing, not an honorable mention
Fair point hahaha
While I highly agreed on allowing to pet our animal companies like dogs and bringing back iconic enemies from the previous Zelda games, there are a few things I hope to be featured in Tears of the Kingdom:
- A playable Princess Zelda and having her own adventures in Hyrule’s underground caverns
- Bringing back Yunobo, Prince Sidon, Teba, and Gerudo Chief Riju from BOTW and Age of Calamity
- in-depth exploring the Shiekah clan vs Yiga Clan conflict
- Surface side quest where Link fights along side the Successors of the Champions (Yunobo, Sidon, Teba, and Riju) against Ganondorf’s army
- Character development and growth
- Underwater dungeons and gameplay
Those are my hope for the upcoming Legend of Zelda installment.
With the appearance at the Farming Direct, and seeing what’s in the leaked art book, I really hope we can do some Harvest Moon-esque farming.
great video man! Can't believe you managed to get so many video ideas from just a few trailers, that's impressive
Thanks! :D
I want to see the abandoned ruins of Skyloft and go out and explore. I hope to find the Goddess Harp and we hope to see the giant goddess statue in the forgotten temple to rise up in the sky
I bet Fi is the new mysterious character in her initial form before being shoved in the sword.
I love twilight princess, and I really agree with your last hope. (And all twilight princess related one). EVEN if Fi is annoying... really annoying.
I think that redeads will be under the floating castle or in the labyrinth
It would be cool if slashing weapons were less effective against Darknuts because it would add more finesse to the comat, and it would be realistic. Armor was used to combat swords, and axes and warhammers were used to combat armor. It doesn’t need to be added, and I’m not gonna be upset if it doesn’t do anything like that, but I think it would be cool
If Fi would somehow incorporate all the Link's that wielded the Master Sword and taught this Link abilities from those different times would be very interesting. Also, I would like a Hinox to throw some bombs like the originals did. :)
I wonder if the little trading building thing in the last few shots of the trailer will be like the AoC stables
Getting more Fi lore would be absolutely perfect!!
Indeed!
we don't need more Fi lore as we have it all already, we definitely do need more Fi thought
@@NewsofPE true! them appearing would be awesome but id still like a bit of lore surrounding them in the broken master sword and all how it was etc
"Is Fi dead?"
The sword appeared to still be glowing, which would imply she is still inside
im starting to think those flying froggy things we have seen are actually malice mutated frogs..... i think we might be seeing the rat that got covered by it in the video..... im hoping they will be the Goriya from the adventures of link
My biggest hope is that I can finish Breath of the Wild before ToTk comes out 😭
sup my dudes God bless yall, something I would like to be back in this new game are the legendary items, u know, hook shot, hammer, boomerang, etc.
kinda hoping for some sort of post-game, with the game allowing you to replay bosses/dungeons/etc whilst opening up loads of new side-quests
Perhaps the labyrinths are hiding the triforce pieces in underground sections, further than what's been seen
Ha ha! All video I was thinking, "fishing."
Maybe the shrines (the whole thing) will turn into armour for the monks and they rebirth the champions and divine beasts then divine beasts get upgraded with the towers on them.
That trailer left you on edge
I figured out an easy way to balance crafting vehicles/weapons and still let the game have progression. If there are dungeons, for each one beaten, you can add 1 more item to crafted vehicles/weapons
Can't wait for the game to come out its going to be a late birthday gift for myself since my birthday is this month and it doesn't come out until may I already have it preordered 🥰🥳
What if a new Darknut also had access to Flurry Rush? That would be nuts. Darknuts.
in dark forest there are 3 dragon head statues with dry leaves on them if you shoot it with a flame arrow it looks like the 3 headed dragon pls check it out
A repairing system does make a lot of sense though, especially since the Master Sword gets damaged and it is heavily assumed you would likely have to repair it.
I think the giant bats are Vires from the NES Zelda
Hi hyrule gamer!maybe is a secret cave in totk near the zora tower place
yeah what was nintendo smoking when deciding how to fish in botw i mean a fishing rod is easy to make
🤣
Wait what if we get to explore outside of hyrul like zelda saying it's to dangerous for you to stay and then link goes to a far away land to recover
