looks so peaceful journaling at a cafe overlooking the beach 🌊 my to-go supplies are usually jusy my journal, maybe 3-5 pens, and couple sheets of stickers. I almost always overpack clothes/toiletry-wise when i’m traveling, so i try to not to overdo it with journal supplies. I also noticed I don’t really have much downtime to just write when i travel 😅 haha
It really was a lovely time - such a peaceful view to look at as I journaled. And ok, your journaling go-tos sound much more reasonable than my whole pouch! It’s true, there isn’t that much time to journal when you’re traveling and always on the go! I think my system will be tested next time I travel somewhere that’s not Busan :)
I love the idea of a journaling-on-the-go little (or not so little haha) set, it can make you use things you don't usually reach for (i also find that having limits makes me more creative). I usually only take notes and then try to do it at home when i return from my trips (but this way i miss a lot of things or i'm lazy to do it all at once). sitting and taking a break, journaling while in the middle of traveling sounds lovely
Yes! Limited supplies definitely makes you more creative. Taking notes to journal later at home is also a great method-- but I found I need to do it soon after otherwise I put it off indefinitely! Hehe. Do you keep a separate journal for travel, or an all in one?
@@AWonderfulSheep kinda, i usually just carry some form of small notebook and i stuff there recipes, tickets, paper and write all messy haha but now that my journal is smaller than before i just add a "messy notebook insert" and carry all (my hobonichi weeks with a little notebook in the back) and it's working so much better for me!
