I'm not a dancer. What I've realized from this compilation is this. The people who covered Ateez followed the choreography, but every member of Ateez adds their special touch that gives it life. Case and point San's Smoke challenge. He took the choreography and made it own.
It's so weird, I dunno what it is, but watching other Kpop idols do the same dance routines doesn't have the same feel as when Ateez does it. It's like the energy, that 'spark' is missing, so Ateez's performances are uniquely Ateez's and can't be replicated. When they dance, it's out of this world even without the fancy lights and costumes.
That's the same thing I felt while watching like there is just something that's missing you can't feel the 'Spark' the 'FEELING' the 'ENERGY' the ' VIBE ' ! The thing we feel while watching ATEEZ just show how UNIQUE ATEEZ Really is ✨👌
@@Ciao_mi I realised that after their pre-debut series (Code Name Ateez) everything they had to do and learn, like the tasks etc are all small building blocks to make what Ateez is as a group. I think there was one task where they had to come up with a dance routine for the first verse and then another verse, but on the second verse they had to do it 'Ateez' style so had to come up with something that's 'theirs' I think that's what they've continued to do all these years. Even the mini concert they did was giving them a small taste of what it would be like in the future, but the grander scale wouldn't shock them as they'd had the experience from a smaller scale. Other Kpop groups just perform a dance and sing, but for Ateez, it's more like a theatrical show and they perform from their entire being. I have HUGE respect for them as creative performers. Besides, what other fandom is as awesome as Atinys who have a fan chant of "BREAK THE WALL!!" Ateez don't just have fans, we also double as their ferocious army not to be trifled with! 😂
Like you said it just doesn't seem to feel and have the same effect as when Ateez performs. For me at least it also feels like they don't quite put the same feeling and energy behind the dance.
They are all so good but whenever I see groups that are not ateez perform their songs I feel like they are missing a step or energy, or they try to look cute/handsome when that's not even the point of the song, some songs you are SUPPOSED to look a little bit crazy and let the music flow into you without caring how you look
I'm mainly talking abt wonderland, HALA HALA, and guerrilla, you are supposed to show the "ugly" and unrestricted emotion/expression I mean that's how the demon line gots it name
@@_mAr1cArAtiny_ I recommend watching craxy cover Guerrilla, obviously not the same as ateez but they dont make it look cute especially the three dancers (if you do watch it i recommend focusing on the girl with blonde hair she executes what you say the best). But yes i agree with your statement while watching this i noticed it too.
I think why a lot of people fall short on doing Covers of ATEEZ songs, specifically INCEPTION, is that they think it's only a Generic Love song. When its not (I mean, it can be) but the song and video is about their Passions. They are in love with their Goals (Dreams) (and it ties into their lore) so they tend to perform Inception like a Love song when you should be performing it, like it's your last chance to achieve your dreams. San even mentioned in a live with Hwa, that he put a lot into the acting of Inception. This goes for a lot of ATEEZ songs too, I'm guessing that people just assume they are just "hype" songs and forget the real message and meaning behind the songs. Hongjoong himself have said that each comback, each stage, is a message, a story being told. What I'm trying to say is, I think all of them here did a good job (E'LAST slayed, I should check out their songs) (except for the ones that changed thanxx- why e'LAST, I was rooting for u😭- n the ones that made wonderland an xmas song- like what was that💀 their producers should never touch music again) but they missed out on a chance to bring a message or tell a story with the covers. Add their own energy and make it stand out. But whatever, I'm just a stranger on the internet with ATEEZ as my Ult, so I'm probably biased.
@@EsmeraldaHane because it's not just Thanxx. Both Wonderland and Thanxx were part of mash-up videos on 1theK Originals. Everything sounded weird there tbh
There are some pretty decent covers in here, like Alexa I wasn't expecting but she got it, probably because she is kinda kooky and weird herself so flinging her hair around and pulling faces is normal for her. Blitzers also did HALA justice, P1h too. The ATBO soloist made me cringe but as a group the energy was there. E'last and NewKidd are obviously Atiny and some of them truly understood the assignment, it's a shame some of the others were too stiff and focused on the 'dance and look pretty' agenda that isn't Ateez at all. Dreamcatcher too, I kind of expected to do well as they share a mutual sound and strong performance style. Honestly, I can see how many tried but it just didn't work. I am glad that people are recognising the impact of Ateez though, and I would rather support infinite numbers of bad covers because it's good to see the influence of the 8 on late 4th and 5th gen idols.
I think the best ones by far were ATBO!! They’re the only ones who really showed even close the amount of energy you need for an Ateez dance routine!! To the person who allowed E’LAST to perform that slowed down version of THANXX……..I hope both side of you pillow are never cold again 😒
You know how good Ateez is when other idols' covers just don't do justice...

Ateez is the hope for idols from small company❤

@@SoullessAbandonIf I’m remembering right, ATEEZ has to come up with the choreo for EXO’s Growl. If I’m wrong, please correct me.

No one is a bigger Atiny than the entirety of E’Last, especially Wonhyuk, our dear fan club president.
no cuz bro mogged everyone in that random dance challenge w other idols everytime ateez comes on😭😭😭😭
That's it actually him and not Romin lol

I love how E’Last are the biggest Atiny. They were so happy to meet Ateez backstage and was so proud to receive a copy of Ateez’s Fever album.
That slowed down version of thanxx should be illegal 💀
And that Santafied Wonderland 😭
I was so confused about that like... It don't sound like thanxx at all

I didn’t even realize that was the song 😓

0:54 oh no thats not....😭😭😭
lmaooo the same reaction i had ..
I had to skip. No offense to them, but Wonderland isn’t meant to be a sit down mellow song.

Kudos to all of them, but Hot Issue and Dreamcatcher captured my heart the most! It's nice to see Ateez being appreciated
Love how most cover Hala hala or Deja Vu
Can u make ateez songs covered by idols in survival shows
I gotta give it to E'last
Awesome this is the latest so far. Upcoming Idols really impress by #ATEEZ songs and choreography 🔥🔥🔥
El de Weekly es muy: ¿OMG?
Actúan de manera tierna y me confundió por tener un enorme contraste con Wonderland original, JAJKAKSJS.
E'last sont vraiment des vrais ATINY❤❤❤
I NEED THE VIDEO OF WEEEKLY SINGING WONDERLAND!!! it sounds so satisfying
Honestly missing Craxys guerrilla cover here is a crime. Good video overall though.
my ateez is so popular

most of them couldn't match the energy which kinda looked off no hate to anyone
I feel like atbo and e'last are atiny
I might not be an idol but I also covered Pirate King~ if anyone is interested, please check it out!

not getting the energy of ateez
None of them as good as Ateez
