Basically all of the groups that aren’t fixed don’t have a leader (which is all except 127). I think it’s the fans that get it mistaken because he’s the leader of 127.

Actually I think the romanized Aegyo is the closest to phonetically right as the 'a' is involved in the sound. Its Ae as in Tae - gyo

Johnny - hugely talented but not given many lines. Does NCT Night Night with Jaehyun. A radio show where they interview idols. He's funny but mature, I could see him being a leader honestly. He speaks several languages (in addition to English/Korean) #daddy
Taeyong has the most titles. Leader, face of the group, visual, lead dancer, main rapper, vocals, Mom of the group. Check out his solo-ish song Cure, its amazing. He seems a bit insecure off stage, I want to give the boy a big hug if I ever see him.
Yuta - Japanese (from Osaka) and beautiful visuals. Not nearly enough lines in any of the songs. Great and sexy dancer. Likes Winwin too. Sometimes I think he tries too hard. He is more than Korean than Korean members because he knows more about their culture and important places than they do. Hardcore tourist!
Kun - new, a bit quiet. Chinese. Likes to do magic tricks. Initially said WinWin was a bit dumb, but I think he's changed his mind since then.
Doyoung - magical voice. He's awesome, one of my favorites. His brother is a famous actor. He's a cutiepie. He says what he thinks and he's really smart and good at games. Fans think he looks like a bunny. (So cute) He takes good care of Jungwoo. Created Vroom Vroom talk show on Season 1 of NCTLIFE. Has done MC on music shows.
Ten - my main bias. He's from Thailand. Good dancing, rapper and vocalist. He was on the show Hit the Stage that had many idol dancers competing against each other. Has a great/cute personality. Now that the Dream kids have grown .. he's the shortest member in the group. He rapped in 7th Sense. Everyone loves Ten. He won on Thailands Super Teen Show and donated all the proceeds he won to orphanages. I hear his family has money.
Jaehyun - my 127 Bias. lived in Conn. for 4 years. Part of ForeignSwaggers with Johnny and Mark. Solid vocals and good dancer, super sexy. Very sweet to his members and you can tell he's really smart. Many idols are blown away by his visuals when they see him in person. He's on NCT Night Night with Johnny.
Winwin - everyone loves Winwin, he's cutter than kittens. He's a dancer and gets 0 lines. He wants to be manly WinWin and not touched alot. (doesnt like skinship) but he does not hesitate to act cute when he wants something.

Taeyong is only the leader in NCT 127. NCT as a whole does NOT have one leader. Also, other rotational units like NCT U and NCT DREAM does not have a eader since their member lineup changes, there will not be one same member leading.

Actually it was confirmed during a recent fanmeet that he's now the official leader of the group.
HE IS THE LEADER IN NCT 127. ONLY NCT 127 has a leader because their members don't change. ( They don't change so far)
Hmm, well that's all I know, because they claimed that NCT Dream can't have a leader because their group is always changing same with NCT U, however NCT 127 doesn't change. NCT is just a confusing group but I do agree that Taeyong is the whole of NCT's leader.
