My wife and I moved from Southern California to Louisville, Kentucky in 1995. I grew up in Glendale, California. We considered moving to Phoenix and even looked around Chandler and Gilbert, Arizona before deciding on Louisville to be closer to family in Tennessee and Pennsylvania. I really liked Arizona, it reminded me of Southern California 20 years before. The state is such a Mecca of cool aviation, old and new.

I'm on the verge of ordering a rans s21 kit with 916iS/c engine and would sure like to see how the process progresses first-hand with my own eyes. Plus you can help me understand all the avionics components to order, because that whole aspect totally confuses me. Also curious about tradeoffs of different props.

Usually, I go for the pneumatic if I’m looking to get it done quicker as the electric puller is about 3x slower than pneumatic. But sometimes I just grab whatever is there. The quality of the pull between the two is the same.

Why is it you alternate between the air rivet gun and the electric? Is one better for different?
