지금 다시 보니까 소름이 돋는게... 이영호는 지금 저 맵에서 이제동 상대로 하라고 해도 저 체재로 했을 거임. 그런데 이제동은 지금은 저렇게 안했을 거임.
이 맵은 언덕 아래에 있는 가스멀티를 저그가 테란 상대로 지키는 게 너무 빡셈. 일단 두갈래 길이 있는 데다가 심시티가 되는 것도 아니고 그래서 실제로 이제동이 몰멀까지 하면서 그렇게 이영호 병력 갉아먹었는데도 이영호가 기어이 뚫고 나와서 이제동 가스멀티를 다크스웜에도 불구하고 깨버렸으니까. 이 게임은 구도 상으로는 이영호가 맞는 선택을 했고 SK 테란으로 이 길 저 길 왔다갔다 하면서 저그 4가스만 계속 단속을 하면 됨. 거기다 맵도 오지게 넓고 마메가 뛰어다니기도 좋고 저그 멀티에 당도만 하면 공간활용해서 저그 괴롭히기도 진짜 좋음. 요즘같은 4인용 맵은 입구가 딱 하나고 저그가 다크스웜 한번만 뿌리면 방어가 가능한데 이 맵은 그게 불가능함. 이 맵은 저그가 테란 상대로 이길 수가 없음. 그래서 이제동이 그렇게 잘했는데도 테란이 미멀 가스멀 한꺼번에 먹고 쓰리스타에서 구름 배슬 뽑아버리면 저그가 할 게 없어진 거. 구불구불 갈래길에서 디파는 다 짤라먹히고 테란은 계속 저그 괴롭히기만 하면 되니까.
그러니까 이제동이 아예 히드라 저글링으로 자기도 맞기동전을 선택해서 속도로 해보자 이렇게 나온 거임. 그런데 아무리 저그가 빨라도 마메만큼 효율이 좋지 못하고 병력이 계속 갉아먹히게 되어있는데... 이걸 그냥 피지컬로 이제동이 해버린 거임... 이 게임은 말이 안됨. 당시에 볼 때는 진짜 이제동 신들린 줄 알았는데 지금 다시 보니까 엄청 무모했는데 자기 전술의 비효율성을 못알아차릴만큼 이제동의 피지컬이 장난이 아니었던 거임. 이영호가 마인까지 다 깔아놓고 갔는데 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ이제동 저 때 진짜 미친 놈이었네ㅋㅋㅋ
그 와중에 럴커 디파도 꾸준히 섞어주네.. 손 진짜 많이 가는데 사람인가 ㄷㄷ
위너스리그에서 손꼽히는 명경기라고 생각하는 1인. 위너스리그에서 나온 수많은 명경기들 중 이 경기를 도저히 빼놓을 수가 없고, 생방으로 봤을 떄의 그 전율은 도저히 잊혀지지 않는다.
잊어 오빠……ㅠㅠ
2020년에도 가끔 보러온다. 마지막 이영호가 질렸다는 표정이 압권

이게임은 mbc게임 이승원해설한게 진짜 쩌는데 그걸 구할수가 없어서 아쉬움. 이승원이 정말 이제동의 ㅁㅊ플레이를 극한으로 중계를 잘했음 그래서 더 강렬하게 기억에 남아있는경기
이거 진짜 공감합니다. 당시에 준결승은 온겜 중계였지만 엠겜도 방송 같이 했었는데 안 남아있네요. 온겜은 김정민 해설 말고 다른분 해설이 너무 안 좋아서 당시 엠겜 중계본이 너무 좋았는데

진짜 이경기가 말도안되는 피지컬인게 맵밸런스가 테란저그전적중에 테란이 2배이상 앞서고있는 씹테란맵에서
구름배슬에 디파일러 러커 다 죽어나가고 4가스 계속 저지당하니까
선택한게 히드라 저글링 근데 다들 알다시피 히드라저글링은 마린매딕한테 상대가 안되는 조합임
근데 4가스 저지 계속당하니까 히드라저글링만 쓰고 필요한 소량만큼만 러커변태
그리고 다크스웜을 안쓰고 히드라로 계속 정면싸움에서 이기도록 플레이그만 사용
이때 엠겜중계영상 이제 구할수도 없는데 생방송으로 봤던입장에서는 이제동 경기력에 이승원해설이 했던말이 아직도 기억남

테란최강 게이머들중에서도 1,2위를 다투는 이영호를 상대로 우세한 전적. 레메 나오고 나서 5대5로 되었지만 종족 상성이 있는데도 테란최강 게이머 1,2인 이영호를 상대로 5대5. 플토는 그냥 안진마 ㅋㅋ. 저저전 결승전이 나온후 저그 죽이기 맵이 상당수 등장. 화승, 마라도나 나폴리 처럼 이제동 원맨팀. 그 모든걸 이기고 수많은 우승. 역대최강은 이제동임.

화승 토스가 너무 라인이 약해서 택뱅 상대로 프로리그성적 안나온것도 없잖아있을듯... 잘하는 사람이랑 계속해야 되는건데
바이오닉 + 베슬 상대로 (업그레이드 똑같이 따라간) 4가스 히드라 + 플레이그의 위력
4가스 돌아가기 전까지 초반엔 저글링 뮤탈로 견제, 중반엔 저글링 러커 스컬지 다크스웜으로 견제하고 수비하는 운영
이거 엄청 개쩌는 경기로 기억되는데 영상 보면서 뭔가 아쉬운감이 들었음. 생각해보니 내가 봤던건 엠겜버전이네

If the term "sauron zerg" really exists, I would definitely use it for Jaedong in this game. Monstrous performance! Total contain for a very long time, and superior macro in the whole game. Took almost all bases at one point.

올킬에는 올킬로 갚아주는 폭군
That's typical build for high skilled terrans (pure bio and vescels). It worked, for some time (flash took like 3 JD's expos) but jeadong macro was just 2 good (meanwhile he was loosing one hatchery, the next one has been finished in other place on map). Just very good counterplay from jd. The downside of bio+vescells is that u cant hold position on map, as u can vs zerg if u got tanks.
I wonder why didn't flash use his trademark buldozer strategy... unbreakable advance with tanks, spider mines, goliaths, and turrets
@@Polored1066 its really hard to mech switch. This game he went bio. Once he did that he was basically pot committed. It's too hard to switch from mass bio and all the money and time invested in all the rax and vessels to then build enough factories to mass mech

SWL stands for Shinhan Bank Winners League. SWL has now gone into the play offs. #3 and #4 place finishers in the league, KTF and SKT respectively, faced off in the first round of the play offs.
The winner of that game, KTF, had to play the #2 finisher from the league (Hwaseung Oz) for a place in the grand finals against the #1 finisher in the league -- CJ Entus. This is the game you just saw.
Thus Hwaseung Oz and CJ Entus will face off in the finals of SWL next week.
The other leagues, MSL and OSL, are individual leagues.
This is the first time in a couple of years that they've used the Winners League format for team play. Previously it was called Proleague. Player rosters were pre-set and you couldn't all-kill. I think they'll go back to Proleague format for team play after this Winners League.
WOW This had me at the edge of my seat the whole game. I was hoping that Flash could take Jeadong out and 2 more, but WOW this game blew my mind away.

Great game. I thought Flash's crazy hatchery-killing marine gang was going to take care of Jaedong eventually, but the hydra switch turned it around and Flash's answer was lacking... JD seemed to make only minor mistakes in these games.
Flash/Jaedong/Bisu playing each other can produce such awesome games and is always damn exciting. Funny how Flash allkilled Hwaseung before and now JD did it back to KTF.

Ultras actually do well against marines. The only other choice you really have is using lurkers. But late game, as long as they have no mech, ultras are better.

I would put my money on forgg, even though he kinda lost bunch of games recently but those were pretty close match up..he still have issue reading his opponent weakness, especially when against player like stork..but once he got it, it's all over..imo forgg micro and decision making is far more better than any other terran player
Great game, but why didn't terran switch to tanks? Why didn't he opt for vultures earlier? I saw Flash's later games and he definitely learned that tanks are the way to go.

해설들 히드라를 애써 무시하지만 원래 전통적으로 제일 dps 높은 조합이 히링임. 디파 컨트롤이에 러커 한두개씩 섞어줘야하는 미친 피지컬이 필요할 뿐..ㅜ

Wow! i must admit I thought Jaedong was done for after losing so many bases. Once he got Hive tech and dark swarm with defilers he had it back though. That was an unreal game!! gggggggg!!!

bw had a life of professional gaming for more than 10 years
of course it will be more exciting but i give enough credit to blizzard to make sc2 just as balanced (which is quite amz in sc1 how the balance is maintained by the 3 races )
you can see the scene diminishing more and more groups disbanded and msl is off
