What really fools you is the fact that you are still moving your real head to look around.. so that gives the immersion that you're really there more than anything else; that's why it's always better than you think it would be, once you have it on.
The new Quest 3 update supports those spacial videos and pinch controls now. And the Quest 3 comes with controllers and can play games, and it's a fraction of the price! And can connect to a PC to play PC VR and flat games. Yeah, seeing the dinosaur is cool, but you have to ask yourself: what will you be doing with this device a week after purchase once that novelty has worn off? This is a device made for the Cult of Apple members, so they can fund R&D until the third or fourth generation of it when it gets to be a reasonable (for Apple) price with the functionality of other headsets.
yeah, I think my conclusion after my first day of using it was that it'd definitely be worth buying at $2k less of a price. The tech did blow me a way but I'm still going to hold off on buying one for myself until the next generation probably
Don't let apple fool you as I have 2 Mac's and they work seamlessly with my Quest 3 as I make music and apple has no software for that on the headset the headset doesn't have a headphone jack so I can record back to my soundcard into Logic Pro X the way I use my Quest 3 is crazy like playing live instruments in Mixed Reality and recording them straight into Logic Pro X or just recording in one of my many music DAWs I own on my Quest 3 so this has no use for me at all and then when I am ready I can just watch the TH-cam VR App with a Giant screen in Mixed Reality or just watch TV shows or I can play Mixed Reality games like Just hoops it's also on the Apple Vision Pro check it out games like that and what the golf they are the type of Mixed Reality that people are buying a Quest 3 for I can just play pool in my living room table tennis, Air Hockey the list goes on and on not look at a bunch of screens saying this is coooool man I can do that on most headset just not with as much screens and i have a 8K TV so it can't replace that so it's pointless for me
What you doing is not Virtual Reality 😂😂😂 Playstation VR2 is true virtual reality GT7 in VR is true Virtual Reality Asgards Wrath 2 is true Virtual Reality
That looked so good. I am envious.

😂😂 Favreau…inator 1:22

Real?!?!?!
Amazing that Dino be smelling that finger
Did you try Oathbrakers yet?
I love prehistoric planet. I’m upset it’s only on the headset that costs as much as a car.
looks pretty legit, i heard Apple is coming out with another "lite" version (not sure when) for like $999? #jealous

Definitely, and the butterfly being able to react to and interact with my hand in the real space was pretty amazing
@@ObscureNerdVR It's cool.. but even at four grand, it's still easy to tell that it's not even close to photo realism quite yet.
Spy Kids 3D was a big moment at the time. How far we’ve come. 😂
it was HUGE for me LOL I think my mind connects every spatial/3d video app I've used back to seeing Spy Kids 3d in theatres
