If he had that streak of consistency for the whole season he could've challenged Prost for the World Championship, for which would have been the first of many championship battles between the two throughout their careers.
As someone who was born 3 years after his accident, I have missed out on seeing an all time great in motorsport, Ayrton Senna. On another note, this was another great video showing that even the best drivers don't have good seasons all the time. If only if he had that consistency of wins and great finishes the whole season, he could've challenged Prost for the World Championship or maybe even win it all in only his 2nd full season.
Indeed the 80s were a decade full of unreliability, retirements and unpredictability. I chose Senna for 1985 just for the sheer amount of lost wins, podiums and points out of his retirements.
@@DimZ_F1 Without those heartbreaks I believe he could've challenged Prost for the World Championship. Which could've been the first of many championship battles between the two drivers. Think about it, if he had that 5 race long streak of consistency for the whole season, he would've had at least enough points to close the gap between himself and Prost
Well, you can say 1985 was a bit of a learning experience for Senna at a top F1 team
RIP Ayrton Senna

Tbh Senna was far from the unluckiest driver of 1985. This was all just part and parcel of being an F1 driver in the early turbo era.

@@zanemarte9877 I agree
1994?
There's no way Senna 1994 would qualify for this series, he died at Imola as we all know
