A tragic lesson of profiteering and "israf"... and usually the musrifeen don't even wear the scent, they wear the price tag. Sometimes tribulations are a way to break the shell of ignorance and bring the light in, so there is always hope.
Ensar, I know you’re a Sufi and I’d assume from that, given over to mysticism (I apologize for my ignorance, I don’t mean that to sound vaguely disparaging if it seems so, I’m a Catholic and have a tremendous respect for abrahamic mysticism, for lack of a better term), but being a true expert in Oud as you are, I’d love if you could speak on Oud as it applies to Christians. Scripture mentions Christ being anointed in aloe before he was placed in the tomb, yet we have no such tradition in using it, though incense and myrrh are otherwise used in our ceremonies. Such a topic may well be beyond your realm of knowledge or indeed interest, but I’d wager you actually know more about this than the vast majority of Christian clergy. You have a lot of Christians buying your product in any case, no doubt.
@@jesusgonzalez-acton8045 I don't think oud will ever go extinct. There will always be oud, the quality of the raw materials may go down or even up depending on the future technology of sustainable oud farming. The wild ouds will probably be available as well. I don't think oud will go extinct truly, even though the now Durian farmers who left the oud scene for higher profitable goods. Oud will always be there.
I have a dream that one day I will go on a buying quest with someone who knows the market travelling around the world buying oud. Does this mean that my dream is over? 😢😢

Wondering the same also.... 😢
Ensar's vault has many gems that are yet to be released I'm sure. I think you'd be amazed if you see Ensar's vault of ouds. 👍
