There are sooooo many great spots for dining out!! I was partial with going to God Brod or Baker Brun for a morning coffee and snack, Daily Pot (meat bowl) for lunch and any one of the fantastic dinner places in or near the city center! Lysverket is just one that comes to mind!

I would go for the kanelboole. As a child my Norwegian mother in ND would take me to a friend's bakery every Saturday to eat fresh kanelbolle. Great memories.

And I forgot to add that I'd also love to eat almost anything with brown butter or brown cheese. Its unique and delicious.

I'm pretty disappointed by the food scene in Bergen. It's actually one of the things I mention when listing the cons of living in Bergen, to my Danish friends.
I might be a bit biased since I used to live in Copenhagen, which can probably be classified as the culinary capital of the world at this point - but, most of the restaurants and takeaway I've tried in Bergen has disappointed me. Especially considering the steep Norwegian prices.
And bakeries I've just completely given up on. For some reason, Baker Brun and Godt Brød seems to have shared monopoly in Bergen, and they are both subpar.
However, not everything has disappointed me. Some places that are good and stood out positively for me:
    Cornelius Sjømatrestaurant
    Villani Skostredet
    REDSUN
    iSushi Minde (The poké bowls)
There's still a lot left that I haven't yet tried, but since I've had so many bad experiences, I'm just not that eager to explore more of the food scene.
