Maybe I'm deaf, but I find it quite a poor performance of such a great, impressive arrangement. However, solo or with orchestra, that is still one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard. I'm very curious how it may sound like arranged for an accordion/bayan and full symphonic orchestra. I can already hear that tremolo in strings.
Hi @furyn5081. He is composer of these variations. Jan Frenkel wrote the music "Kalina krasnaya". End performer Semenov wrote variations on this theme. You can listen to Yuri Shishkins perfomance of this composition.

Actually I'm accordionist/bayanist by myself. I graduated from secondary music school playing accordion, so I know a bit of music like Zolotaryov. His Sonata no 2 and 3, The Monastery of Ferapont, Chamber Suite, Rondo-Cappricioso. All are great. But getting back to Kalina. Some time ago I fell in love with this piece (also this arrangement) and I asked my former teacher if she could give sheet music for it, and so did she. The title written there was (EN) "Guelder Rose: Fantasia on the theme of a song by Jan Frenkel". So I knew that Siemionov is not the original author of the beautiful main theme, but he transformed it into something - for me - indescribably wonderful. But it was different note written there which really intrigued me: "In memory of V. Shukshin". I learned that it refers to Vasily Shukshin - Russian writer, screenwriter, actor and film director. What's more interesting, he directed and played a leading role in a film called "Kalina Krasnaja" (I'm planning to watch it btw). And right after reading your comment I got to know that there's also a symphonic poem by Evgeny Svetlanov which name is also "Kalina Krasnaja". And it's been composed in memory of Vasily Shukshin too. Sadly language barrier successfully prevents me from learning it by myself, so if you know, could you explain me what is the connection between these pieces? Between Frenkel, Shukshin, Svetlanov and finally Siemionov? I would be very thankful.
