Take this point serously. I know people who have been praying fasting and in general following Islam for a long period and have nothing and are in fiancial hardship. Then there are people who cheat the system, get into riba to buy houses and don't necessarily practice Islam. They have nice houses new cars money in the bank and not a worry in the world. So my logic tells me something are we in need of Allah yes we are but yet I see a lot of people successful. Not many people I know got rich being honest. So is this life a test? Well it's a test that very few will pass.

Converting to islam is more important than removing a tatoo so its not a pre-requisite however once converted it would be better to remove it
