  • Come with us to Cajun Land as we visit Breaux Bridge, LA with our hosts Laci Laperouse, Executive Director for St. Martin Parish Tourism, and Jennifer Stelly, Executive Director of St. Martin Parish Economic Development Authority.
    In Part I of this journey we will enjoy brunch at a local favorite, Cafe Sydnie Mae, in downtown Breaux Bridge, meet the "Alligator Whisperer", Captain Tucker of Atchafalaya Basin Landing Swamp Tours in Henderson, LA, with it's picturesque views and alligator sightings.

    Hi Rocky and LVP! Good ol’ Breaux Bridge! I can’t count the times I spent the the night there at the Pilot truck stop during my 38 years of trucking before retiring in 2015! The ONLY thing I don’t like about Louisiana is that 17 mile long Atchafalaya Bridge! Great video! Looking sooo forward to going full time to revisit my old trucking places from the past on MY schedule, MY choices, and MY time! Btw, I’ve joined your channel family and look forward to your videos! Love that Cajun music even though I don’t understand the words! Stay safe! ~Jim~

    This video totally makes me want to visit Louisiana! The history, the music and the FOOD!! That crawfish, French toast, shrimp n grits and that Bread looked delicious 😋. You guys are so cute 😀 Never seen a tame alligator 🐊🤯 Such fun interaction between y'all 😁Loved the video!

    My area! Everyone knows about the Everglades but not enough people are aware of the atchafalaya basin. North americas largest wetland! Its such an amazing place full of nature and culture i wish kore people knew about
