I made my first Soldotna out of a mercerized yarn (SINFONIA) from Hobby Lobby. I used black, white, red, and yellow. When I finished it, it put it in to Soak, white vinegar, and 2 color catchers. I LOVE it, and I got lots of compliments!

All is good in the world. Lovely knitted things that fit well and look like they were made for you...of course they were made for your. It snowed here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and in Southern Alberta too. There was anywhere from 12 to 25 inches, but now it is fall again.

Just found you guys. I’m really enjoying binge watching you. And Kim, I am tall, too. I think sleeve island should have palm trees, warm sunshine and umbrella drinks because we are going to be there a while.

Loving your podcast! I love how you bounce between each other and it makes for very interesting viewing. FYI, the Correa Shawl is named after a small bell-shaped flower here in Australia. :) Ambah, being an Australian designer.

I just watched the first episode after it popped up in my suggestions. Now I am binding off a Birds of a Feather and have to stop to comment. I really enjoy the depth of discussion of both patterns and yarn. The four of you have great taste and super chemistry together. I am an instant fan!

Oh my gosh, I love you, Girls, and that mustard cardigan is to die for, Maureen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your podcast is the best, it's fun, informative and really nice to have you all working in the way you do -it just works and everything is relevant because often, multiple hosts on podcasts can mean they get lost chatting to each other and forget that it may not always be interesting to viewers. I appreciate that you seem to consider that everyone's time is important. It's a funny statement to say that you're now going to knit items that you really can wear :-)))) hehehehehhe, because that should be the brief for knitting since it takes HOURS but I do know how you can sometimes get caught up knitting what's popular. Your boxy is just gorgeous, Kim! Maureen, may I ask - the yellow cardi is really high in the front neck. I wouldn't want that high neck as it doesn't sit right for me, but I love everything else. Is there a way to lower that neck, do you think? KIM OH MY GOSH, your top is such fine knitting that it doesn't look like someone could handknit that. It's so understated and timeless. I was delighted to find you'd done another podcast while I was away from home ( translate that as ME time!) so i could watch it, eat icecream and knit. thank you thank you thank you, Girls. Lu in Australia xxx

Love this podcast! Again, everything you girls knit is beautiful. I also made rug. Well, almost finished rug. It is a teal main color with cranberry design. I used a chunky yarn but not as chunky as called for and went down a needle size. It has about a 3" positive ease. hmmmmm... not sure if I love it yet. See you at next podcast!!!

I’m on my seventh Ranunculus as I’m watching you lovely ladies. I have had the same dilemma with the short rows at the front since the second one I made. It sits a bit too high at the front for my liking and I don’t know what will happen to the shaping if I omit the front short rows and just did the back ones. Logically, I feel it will sit lower at the front but then I get freaked out about not following the pattern exactly and just keep knitting them with the short rows at the front as well 😩😳 I knit them in De Rerum Natura Gilliat on 6mm needles and love the result. Fast and enjoyable every time. Only quirk is the front neckline 😏 LOVE your podcasts BTW, keep them coming please xxx
