It still burns him deep. His whole voice changed. And no jokes... Much respect 🙏
Yeah, I noticed too. Almost choked up myself because I know exactly what he means.
Oh no doubt, but it shaped him to be the Kevin Hart we all know.
He seen everything leave and probably thought he was going to be nothing from then image that you’re from philly or any hood everyone’s getting out going to college and you’re still such have no idea what to do that reality hit for him but I mean if this didn’t happen we wouldn’t have got the great comedian in him
the fact he had those exact schools to memory, they were probably people he was really close with
It hit me deep, too. I actually did try on my SAT but I still didn't get a good score. Everyone I knew are now doctors or have good jobs. I feel like I got nowhere but at the same time I did a lot. I'm still looking for something greater for me.
I like how his lesson wasn’t “I didn’t try in school and look at me! I’m successful!”
It’s, “I wish I tried harder so from that point on, I decided to apply myself. I made a mistake so now I’m going to learn from it.”
I love that also. The feeling of being left behind is a feeling you don’t forget easily especially when you could’ve done something about it but didn’t take action.
everyone looks at where these people are now but ignore the sacrifice it takes to be truly great
agreed too many people see celebrities or youtubers who didn't do well in highschool / college and think that means they shouldn't at least try
What if he would have aced the SAT's went on to a big college and never pursued his comedy career? He could be working in a cubicle hating life and not a multi millionaire wold famous comedian 🤷🏿♂️ Funny how life works huh lol.

Yes but grades are not everything. As someone that got Ds in my undergrad at the end of my degree. It counts for the Diploma, but the GPA suffers. Not in my case though because I had As in all the classes I could in Bio, my degree, and art, my minor. So it kinda evened itself out. I still had 3.2 overall and I'm a biology major. Everything makes so much more sense now being out and I get constant reminders of how to do everything because I'm a high school teacher/private k-12 + university chem tutor. Big elite schools, future employers, etc. All like unique stories. They will chose the person that is different from the person that just checked all the boxes. I had a boss tell me they hired me because I was an art major and I did science classes. He didn't give a shit what I put on my resume and job application. He came up with his own way of remembering me how it made sense to him. I got into a fancy program for my teaching credential. Out of many candidates, I was chosen because I specifically talked about STEAM and I studied abroad for 3 summers. I stand out by experiences I've had at my university, not just my grades. I think keeping that in mind keeps us well rounded and valuable on a team.

Exactly, you can get all your core credits out of the way for a much cheaper price tag. Too many people go to college anyway under the pressure of their family and wanting to "not get left behind". It's not for everyone.
Right
Most people realize that this path is more affordable for the average person only after going this route. The pressure to attend university straight from our parents was due to college being affordable back then. I remember my friends parents mentioning they'd work a summer job and it'd pay for tuition, books, and more. Just for a summer job at minimum wage.
But there's no denying a prestige of attending straight out of high school. And college these days are more about the people you meet rather than the curriculum. Unless you mean graduate degrees. Losing two years of potential networking is a loss, and it's definitely more difficult as a transfer to connect to others.
I love you, Kevin Hart. You are a good young man sir.

True education can have benefits but the price of education now is more than it’s worth. If everyone has some self control and stopped going to college then the prices would drop. They created a false demand on the market so they are just fucking everyone with prices. Education is useful but it’s not everything because it’s really only important because of our manufactured systems in todays world. When things start to go downhill like serious wars education becomes nothing.
A word of advice from my father: learn from other people's mistakes so you don't have to make them yourself
I learn from the mistakes of those who take my advice
True. But making a mistake makes you wiser. 😊 sometimes I don't listen to the advice and I learn the hard way. But I don't regret it.
