Wow, the resemblance of Spocky and Grandee! Earlier today I watched a video of Grandee grooming Spocky! Grandee is really tender, gentle and loving to his kids.
But Grandee is the one that evicted Spocky and Dopey prematurely from their natal troop while allowing the male offspring of the female Alpha (Bossy) to stay and harass the remaining troop members. The inner workings of troop politics are still mysterious.
@@vg7735 I don’t know about Brody. I do know that Barry & Barney should have been shown the door before their testicles dropped. The typical age for males to be evicted from their natal troop is between 4-6. Before they can impregnate their female relatives. Dopey was between 3 and 4 if memory serves me right. Grandee did force out a pair of brothers that were only 2.5 & 3.5 years within the same timeframe. Strangely there is still one of Dopey’s class left in the troop not related to Bossy.
He's Grandee's boy and even as a baby he looked like his father. There are some videos where Dolly takes a break and Grandee takes care of Spocky and Spocky loves it. 🤓🏴☠️🇸🇪🇺🇦🕊

An alpha female can easily side with another male and kick him out. For example Bossy could have wanted to punish Dolly or Grandee for that matter. Spocky looks good, but sad to see him not with the troop. What a pleasure it was to see Tiny and Teeny was wondering how they were doing. Tiny had me laughing licking your lens.
How old was Scooby when he went missing? I wonder if he could have been booted out while young too. However, AM would probably recognise his grown up face.

I can understand mother monkey's sitting around waiting for food but these are grown male monkeys! Where is there forging survival skills! No wonder all their babies mammals are all on welfare lol!
People been feeding these monkeys for 30+ years now ….more so since 2020. They get a fruit some food scraps, it’s not exactly 3 course meals daily to even consider dependent on human for their survival.. lol
I will give them whatever food I have just for them to get by for now until their regular feeder comes back. Thanks MR AM for giving them some beans 😊,🐒👌🐵

They shouldn’t have a “regular feeder”. And people shouldn’t be feeding them - especially excessively. They need to learn how to forage for resources in the forests or else they will struggle to survive on their own when a feeder isn’t around. These people feeding them may seem nice, and they probably don’t understand how bad it can be for them, but it’s not a good thing to do because it discourages the troop from being able to survive on their own via scavenging for food. I love monkeys, that’s why I disagree with the behavior of these “regular feeders” I want them to live and they can’t do that unless they learn how to completely independent and on their own.

Food are scarce during winter that's why there are registered feeders, (which I previously referred to as "regular" feeder. You don't supplements their food and they will go down the forest and bother people on close vicinity of Monkey Hill. I been to HK, and I know they are close to high rise residences. In Japan, they have a monkey park where they feed the snow monkey with barley's and apples, so as to avoid these monkeys from raiding the farms nearby. The foods on the forest are not enough for these monkeys so they supplement them. And yes they still forage, just like the macaques in Monkey Hill ✌️

Alongside that these people feeding them contributes to further overpopulation by enabling the troops to breed more and more excessively. This isn’t good, man, it’s very bad and they should do some sterilization because if there’s not enough resources that means the monkeys have become so overpopulated that they’re not an invasive species that’s affecting the habitat. Say what you want - but this is inevitably NOT GOOD and the fact they’re relying on external factors to feed like the human feeders is bad for them.
Teeny you are indeed a survivor you made it and was able to overcome all the struggles that life brought you, keep it up Teeny, how I wish I meet you all when I will revisit HK just for monkey Hill reason to be able to feed and the rest like Dopey etc.

I can still remember when the babies were born as we watched them grow, it's pretty sad when they are sent off to fend for themselves, it's a treat when they come back to visit 🐒😘💞💞💞 If I were going anywhere near monkey hill, I was certainly pick up some Peanuts especially for the older boy's 🤗❣️
Skinny has an older daughter named siisy who is with Wilde now alpha of the troop now that skull head has passed and she has one kid. So skinny oldest daughter is hanging out with the high Borns now. Booper is one of the highest ranking kids so it's surprising that she hung around with teeny. She has a lil bro named boo who she plays with a lot and she is very protective of him.

We saw a lot of our favorites outside of the gang today except Grandee. Anyone here have any new news on Grandee? The last I heard he was missing from Bossy's troop. And also Barney was ousted too.
@@PandoraBVV It was in one of AM,s videos about a week ago, when he first showed Ridgy beaten up . He has shown her twice. He said he hasn't seen Our Grandee! Then in Monkeys Inc she showed Barney with a busted lip and ousted out of the troop. I wish AM would tell us news of Our Grandee.

Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers among the viewers. Spocky has grown, but he does look sad. Maybe the berries are gone. Dopey has sure grown. You're right A M, it is our fault that all of the troops associate Golden Hill Rd. with goodies. Lowina's troop is looking well. Always great to see Skull Heads troop, especially Teeny. We don't see her so much any more. Still hard to believe that Skull Head is gone. Teeny & Tiny have never looked at you as a source of goodies. Take care you all! Catch me later!
Skull Head got some kind of ulcerous lesions down around his lower abdomenal region or scrotum area that became infected, which caused his health to deteriorate & it got to the point where he fell out of a tree & then fell into a ditch or ravine, so to avoid him any additional pain & suffering, authorities picked him up & euthanized him. He passed away on May 14, 2022.

If people don't like monkeys, why got to Monkey Hill? I just don't get it. Why use walking sticks and umbrellas to shew them away. The monkeys were there first and that is their home.
Crazy right? Imagine walking through someone's backyard but when the homeowner approaches you you start yelling and swinging a stick at them like they're diseased 💀
They've already made that association between humans and potential "goodies". You giving them supplemental nutrition in a responsible manner (in terms of quality/nutritional value of the food, method of distribution, etc) isn't going to negatively impact them.
Yo Arroz...I agree with you about him is use to being handed food....he's not starving just happy to see you...if he gets caught in the neutering cage oh well it won't hurt him...just no good looking pups like Grandee...he looks so much like his daddy now
The idea of the camera lens reflection and their dominance/submission signals interests me. Just as they feel anger and flash an aggressive challenge face, they are instantly faced with a mad monkey reflected back. At some point, that reflected monkey's anger and nonbacking down freightens them ("oh wow, it's not backing down and even showong dominance towards me!") and they flinch. Well just as they flinch, that damn reflected monkey flinches! They catch that glance just as they were looking away. (and so on the uncanny cycle goes)
I am relatively new to your channel. Are these monkeys fed by tourists, authorities? I was just concerned, that when you start feeding a group of animals, all sorts of problems arise.
There are registered feeders that come by and feed them at least once if not twice a day. They are called registered because they are registered with the government and they are legally allowed to feed them. There are "casual" feeders that are not registered. They can be tourists and locals. The monkeys on Monkey Hill do not leave this area, which is very large. They do not go into the cities for their food. They also do forage throughout the day on the local plant life. The biggest problem is that the monkeys have gotten use to the vehicles and baby monkeys get under the vehicles and can get ran over. The second biggest problem is the people deciding to speed through Monkey Hill instead of obeying the speed limit and watching out for the wildlife. This is a national park and the road dead ends. So there is no reason for the speeding. But monkeys have been killed because of it.

They have been around for years and years. Even if the berries are gone they should be able to live off the land. They did it before the goodies trucks arrived. Have we made it to wear they think they can’t live without the goodies. Are we ruining their natural survival they have done fir thousands of years. Kinda scary to think of it this way. We don’t see them Rummaging through the grass looking for anything. No foraging . Just waiting for hand outs. Then we see tiny and teeny and they always eat anything around them.
Of course they're always lack of food。A question about : is there any organization/s aimed to adopt the orphanage and disabled monkeys？Further more how to find out the way to help the problematical ones legally？Thx anyway of showing the ways

@@PandoraBVV It was in one of AM,s videos about a week ago, when he first showed Ridgy beaten up . He has shown her twice. He said he hasn't seen Our Grandee! Then in Monkeys Inc she showed Barney with a busted lip and ousted out of the troop. I wish AM would tell us news of Our Grandee.

There must have been a whole lotta crazy from the guy who dared to go after Grandee! He had already retired and wasn't a threat to any buff new contender for the job of Alpha! This is so sad to me. Grandee is a Hong Kong & International Treasure and much loved across the world!

Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers among the viewers. Spocky has grown, but he does look sad. Maybe the berries are gone. Dopey has sure grown. You're right A M, it is our fault that all of the troops associate Golden Hill Rd. with goodies. Lowina's troop is looking well. Always great to see Skull Heads troop, especially Teeny. We don't see her so much any more. Still hard to believe that Skull Head is gone. Teeny & Tiny have never looked at you as a source of goodies. Take care you all! Catch me later!
Skull Head got some kind of ulcerous lesions down around his lower abdomenal region or scrotum area that became infected, which caused his health to deteriorate & it got to the point where he fell out of a tree & then fell into a ditch or ravine, so to avoid him any additional pain & suffering, authorities picked him up & euthanized him. He passed away on May 14, 2022.

If people don't like monkeys, why got to Monkey Hill? I just don't get it. Why use walking sticks and umbrellas to shew them away. The monkeys were there first and that is their home.
Because it is used for exercise and hiking too. It is sad that some are mean. Maybe some monkeys come to close as they expect food from every person.
Crazy right? Imagine walking through someone's backyard but when the homeowner approaches you you start yelling and swinging a stick at them like they're diseased 💀
They've already made that association between humans and potential "goodies". You giving them supplemental nutrition in a responsible manner (in terms of quality/nutritional value of the food, method of distribution, etc) isn't going to negatively impact them.

The idea of the camera lens reflection and their dominance/submission signals interests me. Just as they feel anger and flash an aggressive challenge face, they are instantly faced with a mad monkey reflected back. At some point, that reflected monkey's anger and nonbacking down freightens them ("oh wow, it's not backing down and even showong dominance towards me!") and they flinch.
Well just as they flinch, that damn reflected monkey flinches! They catch that glance just as they were looking away.
(and so on the uncanny cycle goes)

I am relatively new to your channel. Are these monkeys fed by tourists, authorities? I was just concerned, that when you start feeding a group of animals, all sorts of problems arise.
There are registered feeders that come by and feed them at least once if not twice a day. They are called registered because they are registered with the government and they are legally allowed to feed them. There are "casual" feeders that are not registered. They can be tourists and locals. The monkeys on Monkey Hill do not leave this area, which is very large. They do not go into the cities for their food. They also do forage throughout the day on the local plant life. The biggest problem is that the monkeys have gotten use to the vehicles and baby monkeys get under the vehicles and can get ran over. The second biggest problem is the people deciding to speed through Monkey Hill instead of obeying the speed limit and watching out for the wildlife. This is a national park and the road dead ends. So there is no reason for the speeding. But monkeys have been killed because of it.

They have been around for years and years. Even if the berries are gone they should be able to live off the land. They did it before the goodies trucks arrived. Have we made it to wear they think they can’t live without the goodies. Are we ruining their natural survival they have done fir thousands of years. Kinda scary to think of it this way. We don’t see them
Rummaging through the grass looking for anything. No foraging . Just waiting for hand outs. Then we see tiny and teeny and they always eat anything around them.

No they are not 😁 they are surrounded by food everywhere . The thing is they are used to be fed . Which is a great idea that highly contributes to monkey's overpopulation 🙄
