Im actually very curious how Mary ended up like this after I started reading Kakegurui Twin (prequel series). She didnt like the house pet system or cheating in the prequel, yet here she is here cheating and abusing the house pets
Just a guess, but she probably got caught up in being “on top”. She always wins and everyone thinks she’s so good so she wanted to keep that status? I’m not really sure though
You can really see mary transform from a innocent smart girl to a greedy person
She literally turn into that curl pigtails hair bitch from her class. Even steal her techniques too. She become the things she swore to destroy.
I feel like people react differently to what they hate. Some people hate the school system so they don't gamble. And then there's Mary. She hates the whole system so she wants to be on top of it, by conquering it meaning she's surviving it.
Well there are other players too who cheats beside Mary,and it's actually mentioned that being cruel to house pets is one of the rules in the academy
All fun and games until Yumeko activates her Sharingan

2. It's never too late to start a gambling addiction
3. Don't ever gamble against Yumeko
My gambling addiction started when I was a freshman. I had a little group who would play poker during our flexes. One of my friends even has actual poker chips. I'm surprised the teacher even let us play.

I love how voice actress who play good characters to the “T” that innocent sweet girl everyone loves and can’t find to hate, can also play voices of those with insane personalities but they are not truly evil. let's be honest, Mary got some serious character development after S1 e1 and she's my favourite character after Yumeko
dude shes my fav. character in the entire movie. I feel like she is the main character, this was all written through her experiences, Coz shes the real human in the entire movie, while yUmeko and Kirari are not human

I love Erika Harlacher as Yumeko's Voice Actor. Also with because I love Shinobu Kocho from Demon Slayer as well, I find the voice soothing.
