Great game going into the 4th. The deciding play in the game was the face mask penalty when JSU had ULM on their goal line on 3rd and long. This is still a better JSU team than last year. 🔥
@@jeromebrooks8209 Yes, that was a big play but certainly not the "deciding" play. There is no guarantee that JSU would have scored on their next possession especially considering their anemic play calling. There were many blunders that led to that loss, my friend. ✝️
We gave away 21 points. We gave up a big run and the guy tried to jump that route on their first scoring drive. Then at the end of the half we had that rushed play the resulted in a loss on 2nd down (13:35) then an INT on I think the next play. After we broke that big run there was no reason to be in a rush. Then we have the holding in the 3rd quarter. That's 3 times we had a chance to get a stop or take the lead, then they end up scoring. I also think the receiver saved Morgan's throw on that first TD. I'm not sure why he threw it so far outside on the INT

This game had very little to do wit jsu talent…they matched up wit ULM n the talent department… this game had all the more to do wit the play calling…calling screens n runs on 3rd n long ain’t it but it was just the first game no need to hit the panic button

The tigers looked worse this year than last year. If this team had played the Texas State team of last season, they would have lost by 70. They still can't tackle, still gets physically man handled at the line on both sides of the ball, still lack discipline, and still are a dink and dunk team on offense. This was some of the most atrocious play calling I've ever seen. The talent is there, but let's face it, the coaching is not. This green staff is proving to be exactly that, "green." I don't think TC is neither head coach or OC material. He is not the one that will lead the tigers back to the glory days as the so called insiders push with their narratives. This is the second consecutive year that they have made that claim and made themselves a laughing stock. They raved on the d-line saying there is very little drop off from the ones to the threes. That may be true when scrimmaging against each other but not actual competition. Also, what's the use in bragging on team speed and great receivers if you won't pass the ball down field. What's the point in boasting of the deepest RB room in FCS and only play two of them behind an o-line that's big for nothing? Travis Terrell was hyped up just like Seven Magee last year and was not impressive at 5'8" 165 lbs. The tigers played scared against the team that will finish last in the Sun Belt. Didn't those who are privy to watching the practices and inside information say that the ULM team was basically a Ms Juco and coming off a worse turnover year than JSU experienced in 2023. Didn't they say the coaches didn't know what they had in their players and had never coached together themselves? Didn't they predict a tiger victory? So everyone can stop crying about the preseason predictions by the SWAC. It looks like the third place prediction in the east by the pondents was actually very generous, my friends.
@@Mr..G we don’t know exactly what this team is after one game against a FBS school. Let’s let the season play out, let the team make adjustments and see where we are in a few weeks. I do believe that this team is better than last year but we shall see.

Love seeing HBCUs get some recognition but I’m a Warhawk! Hoping we have a good winning season this year
HBCUs do it for the money. We are underfunded and need the payout FBS schools give us.
