@@Checkmate777I can explain it in the easiest way to understand, as it was taught to me. It isn't actually about sinking your weight low. It's about shifting your weight from one foot to the other as you punch, NOT keeping your weight centered and balanced. For example, when you throw your right cross, you transition your weight over to your left leg. If you rotate in place and keep your weight centered the entire time, a shot to your left side will knock you off balance. Shifting your weight to your left leg will not only GREATLY increase the power, but will make you very sturdy to defend against a shot hitting you on the left side. This is especially important if they throw a right hand at the same time as you, because if they beat you to the punch, your own punch will still go to it's target because you didn't get knocked off balance.
@@Checkmate777 sitting on your punches means to actually place your foot down on the ball or at least in an athletic posture and let your body weight actually come down with you and into the strike from the step your taking . what happens a lot when people are stepping and punching at the same time , sometimes the punch will get there before you can get your foot down ( or sametime but you plant lightly or keep weight on rear foot ) meaning when your foot finally touches the ground or you get your balance right from moving , you will already have a counter strike coming your way so you will end up being too light on your lead foot and your fall off balance from any force coming your way . if your "sitting"into your punches you will have balance and power , but the trade off is your slighly less quick to move back out of space .

Sean even helped Alex in the first fight against Israel, he helped with trash talk, they helped people to give more notoriety to the main event I hope Sean and Alex can shine in their categories and earn a lot of money.

To the editor whoever you may be, we love the content BUT we would love it even more with a subtitles added. I know it’s hard work to add a subtitles but for all the English speaking fans of Poatan, it would help us love the videos even more if we were able to understand him and everything that he says. When he’s doing official panels for the UFC he’s usually at his most loud and brash, but in interviews and more low-key content like this he comes off a lot more chill to be around and his edgy side becomes a lot more toned-down or at least obviously well-intentioned. Seems to me personally like he plays it up for the stage at events at least a bit, he’s always a lot more mature and measured in videos like this

I really think this was the reason Strickland was able to pull off the win… seems like even though they’re both great fighters, just having the second opinion and set of eyes in pereira was sooooo valuable for Sean and Alex!

@@bailsaz he puts in the work, regardless of the results when he steps into the cage - the guy works hard when the spotlight is off. He is always at the gym and always asking people for some rounds. He is definitely crazy, but you can tell, if you are in his camp/team/etc. he has your back no matter what.

Sean is super humble, and a great guy, but people underestimate the humility it takes for a guy like Alex to take lessons and training from someone he beat so soundly. He realizes that he doesnt have the perfect formula for MMA yet, and even someone he knocked out can best him in other ways, or teach him lessons. truly an anime/fairly tail friendship
Alex is one of the most admirable fighters I have ever seen. He is very Humble, always trying to improve, doesn’t dwell on his career, and brings out the best in himself and those around him.

Seans ground game is extremely underrated, wish he would implement it more like he did at the beginning of his career
I think his problem is he doesn't have much wrestling. He can't get guys to the ground to use his ground game.
