    Thanks for the information ! What is the detention , layover, breakdown and inclement weather pay like ?

    • @bigsmoothtruckin
      @bigsmoothtruckin  ปีที่แล้ว

      As far as I'm aware, nothing for weather and I haven't had a really long breakdown so I'm not sure there, but I believe layover is $50 a day, and detention is $10 an hour up to $100 a day, and that starts after the 3rd hour on the 4th hour. (So if you've been getting unloaded for 5 hours, you would have earned $20) but you have to submit that in, they don't just automatically pay that.

      @@eternialthemc Wait, are you local? That's a lot of stops per week. If they give us a local load or a load that requires multiple stops, we get $50 per stop. But that's because I'm OTR, so that rarely happens

      Make sure you call and check on that bro. Some people told me that kllm won't hire you until you have 3 months of experience first, so definitely check on that. They hire you immediately if you get your CDL through them, not always if you get your CDL from somewhere else.

      3months it'll be .62cpm
      6months it'll be .64cpm

      And that is the tricky part....if a person got a job for just 3 months after they had their CDL...likely they are going to be seen as flaky. So...if a person gets a job after CDL school...they really want top keep it for 1 year... so as to protect their employability. Bro I’m thinking about coming to KLLM from Werner, how good are they at reimbursing you for the trailer washout?! I heard on other reviews they don’t pay

    • @bigsmoothtruckin
      @bigsmoothtruckin  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are near a terminal or blue beacon, they wash your trailer out for free basically because they have an account with blue beacon. But if you have to go to any other place for a trailer wash, make sure you send in a macro for a money code and you will use your fuel card to pay for it, so it never leaves your check. If you pay for it yourself, then you might have an issue, so just never do that, lol. But yea, if you do everything right you never have to pay to even worry about a reimbursement
