Okay on the things you didn't get: 1:46 Jimin is a whole body laugher. He rocks back and forth so when he rocked back that time he lost his balance and fell backwards. Injured heel is why Jungkook was in a chair. Last year in London he cut a gash in his heel while stretching and he needed stitches. So he wasn't allowed to perform so it can heal but what Jimin said to him only they know.
Actually they are really hard on themselves and they feel really awful if they are messing up because they know that concert can be someone's first and last...they always want to show us their best sides but behind the stage they feel so exhausted and regretful. They are so hard working and passionate about what they are doing. The most wonderful boys ever 💜💜💜

A lot of celebrities especially in the US are not like that, they want to look perfect when they are not but BTS show their flaws and everything.
ShyGabby actually it depends on the situation, you can see in this video most of the performances were care free and focuses on the members having fun. However there are also some situations from concerts or other performances where bts strive to perform their best. They put up a brave face after making a slight mistake but they might cry or feel guilty back stage and work harder for future performances (altho we might not see it, there are some footage from burn the stage/bring the soul) the way u worded it made it seem like that bts shows their flaws and don’t strive for perfection when they actually do. They show that they make mistake and how they learn from them to make their performances better.
Oh they do take themselves serious but in stages where they don’t choreography is where they are carefree but others are very serious. Jungkook cried when he couldn’t perform due to injury. When they arrived in Europe last year for that leg of their Love Yourself Tour, Jungkook hurt himself really badly before the show (he was warming up without shoes on before taking a shower, I believe he said, and he slipped & cut his heel deeply when he made contact with a piece of furniture). He had to sit down during all the European concerts and the boys always tried to cheer him up (see Jin being behind him and joking around) because he was way too hard on himself. The poor guy cried the first day because he felt like he disappointed many people. The next time he came to Europe (this year during the Speak Yourself Tour) he flew over the stadium during his solo performance, which seems the appropriate revenge on that heel injury lol He's fully healed now ^^

I became an army because I absolutely love their personalities. Such big stars but are SO down to earth. Not only on stage but in interviews as well. They don't pretend to all sophisticated and uk elite stuff they're like this is who we are! Do you remember the time when V made a disgusting face at ellen show cuz he didn't like the coffee. Or the time when jhope suddenly start dancing in billboard interview or when an interviewer called army annoying and they didn't even laugh it off, changed their facial expressions and jimin even rolled his eyes at him. That's them.

Justin!!! For the DNA performance where Jimin slipped and fell after he got up he quickly told the other members (in this order Jimin> Jungkook> Taehyung> Hoseok> Namjoon like a chain reaction) not to do the last part of their choreography because there is a lot of foot work involved. The only who didn’t get the message was Yoongi since they had no time. When it was time to do the last part of the choreo Yoongi started to do the last stretch of the performance but noticed that no one else did it. He played it off VERY well. There’s videos and angles where you can see it happening. Edit: you can see it on a video called “BTS being professional on stage” by bangpinkcherry
Also they aren't afraid to show that they mess up I love that part about them they do play it off well like jimin just taking his shoes off lol he's like I'm not slipping again so I'm loosing the shoes they keep the crowd laughing like you said they do get injuries but they put it into the performance they are never left in the dark when its that members part all BTS goes to that member and dances with that member they always incorporate even when injured it is true it took them years like you said they weren't this good but I swear they took falling classes cause they fall alot especially Jimin
So, once at the "Summer Concert" of the school I go to I played Chopin's waltz in c-sharp minor on the piano as a solo piece. I practiced it a lot, even on the same day (I always play without sheets). So for the first time I was really confident before the concert and didn't think "oh my god, everything will go wrong". When it was my turn I sat down in front of the piano, calmed down a little and started to play. After the first few notes my mind just went completely blank. Then I tried it again, same thing. The third time, too. I was a little embarrassed an shook my head. The listeners just gave me applause to cheer me up, so I tried a 4th and 5th time with the same outcome. I was totally embarrassed then and hid my face behind my hands. I was almost about to cry. xD But the people gave me "cheer-up-applause" again. I didn't just want to stand up and go, so I focused some time, tried to free my head and tried again. Then I started over, played the first notes, left out the part I couldn't remember and just continued with the next part of the piece I could remember. After that I played the rest of the piece flawlessly and the part came back to my mind when it came again at the end. But after that I was completely disappointed and f*cked up. On the next day in school many of my classmates, teachers etc. came to me and said, that they think it was really cool and admirable that I didn't give up and just continued. One teacher literally (but in German, of course xD) said to me: "At the last concerts you performed, you always looked really unconcerned and not even slightly nervous, like nothing at all can really bother you; like, I almost started to think you're unlikable. But yesterday I was like ''oh my god, she's a human, too''. I really think, that this all has made it a better performance and all of the people really liked you, just because you didn't give up. I mean, I think I wouldn't have been able to do it and would've just left." xD Sorry for this long anecdote, but I just wanted to say that things like that happen (and sometimes it's even better than a perfect performance) and you just have to accept it and continue. :P

They have had vocal mishaps lol there's also a lot of times where their in ear does work at ALL and makes them mess up, or where they're sick or just not feeling their best vocally. I think that's completely normal, especially because they've been performing 3/4 times a week for like.. 2 years, without pause because of their tour, award shows, music shows, festivals, own fanmeets but now!! They've been resting for a month so they're really recuperating!!
These are the cute mistakes accidents they had. There's videos that has their more severe accidents and if this impresses you, that one would most likely to impress you. There are ones when they nearly fainted during performance, performing with injuries, jungkook bleeding while performing.. etc. You should check that one out.
