So one bit of recurring jank I'm noticing is the Floyd-blobs getting trapped on opposite sides of a thin platform/weird ledge and then having to wiggle inconveniently to get on the same side of the platform. Usually the bottom side. Usually while trying to jump to the top side. This seems less than ideal. 7:35: Absolute best time to jump. No notes. 11:05: I wonder how scoring works in the bouncy-crate levels. In the tutorial it was "drop it less means less-broken crate means high score," but dropping the bouncy crate is encouraged. 12:15: My question is answered. I'm also surprised they got three stars on that other level. 30:30: FWIW, I think Carrie has a point. 48:58: Perhaps Carrie does not know as much about dolphins as she thinks she does.
Dolphins being cancelled, the push-back against it and the discourse on animal morality has been one of the funniest things to witness online in the past year. It serves as a great reminder to not put much weight on opinions of random comments/twitch chat all the time
@@HeartOfKay People have been arguing about dolphins being portrayed as happy friendly creatures instead of the predatory* assholes they are since long before 2024. *Both in the sense that they are literal, carnivorous predators, and in the sense that they sexually assault vulnerable porpoises.
@@timothymclean Oh I absolutely believe that the discussion has been going on for a while, and I'm honestly completely for a more varied and honest depiction. But I feel that opinion got more common on the larger internet recently.. Or maybe it just hit my spaces on the internet, I dunno. And yeah, they're assholes, no denying that. Casual Geographic gave us enough evidence of that. But the same video also established that they're just animals. I guess the comedy for me comes from people not stopping at "Wow that's disturbing animal behavior" and going all they way to "They are evil and you're bad for liking them", though I assume most of those people are being hyperbolic for a joke too.
11:56 :D 19:21 I can't believe you've done this. 20:23 There's two jokes here I can see, one is "skill issue". I'm not saying the other. 2:57 Well, that's quite the pickle. 23:37 I think the solution involves the button, I just don't know how to get to it at this point. 37:09 I, too, think I know where this is going. 37:11 Yup, also I can hear her smiling as she says it. In this video, Dan and Carrie turn into the martians from the Muppets

Dan: "Down, down, down!"
Me: "By the river..." 🎶
39:08 Better a sandcastle hat than a lab coat for beachwear.
That is one of the most accurate and descriptive video titles ever written.
In a way it's also good life advice:
PANIC, but Cooperatively.

I wonder if there is an easy mechanic that they've completely missed.

Definitely got the vibe that Dan and Carrie are chanelling the "Yip Yip" aliens from Sesame Street
the perfect game for our amusement & to get Carrie's blood pressure higher
