This event has been covered MANY times, however, you`ve found photos I had not seen before. My opinion? The ship failed catastrophically, no time for distress call with a (W)anchor as a Captain. RV Petrel, get back on the job and locate the wreck - the `Bermuda Triangle` is a fallacy. Thanks for the video - hope you get to make one on the solution!
Topnotch, Jamie👍!! I've always been titillated about, the tale of the USS 'Cyclops', and the Bermuda Triangle. Didn't know this ship, was built in Philadelphia (a 100 miles away, from us). I knew her Captain, was kinda kooky, but not to the point, that he wasn't right, in the head (only long underwear, and a derby. Chasing crew around, with pistols😳⁉️). And on how she met, her demise. You said the captain sometimes let, an inexperienced officer, load the ship. It's possible he didn't protect, the magnesium ore from touching the steel hull, which in turn ate through, the hull plates. Especially, when salt water combines with it. Causing multiple holes, simultaneously. Would've sunk, in mere minutes.

Beautiful ships but they look very suspect in their seaworthiness.
Indeed thank you so much for watching 😁 👍🏽
@@OldShippinglines The pleasure is mine Jaime. 😊
@MrOblivi0us nearly every collier looked like that in the past so why do they look sus in their seaworthiness lmao
@@chrisi06 and they all ended up in the scraper or on the bottom of the Great Lakes.
@@OceanicEstate But ending up in the scrapyard, IS normal. And yes, some ship's do founder.
Good Vid ,anything can happen in the Bermuda Triangle!
Indeed 😁👍🏽
Thanks for posting
Good job. One thing to notice the voice plays perfectly at 1.5x speed. I think that or slightly less is what people generally expect.
Thank you so much for watching sir 😁 👍🏽
Howevor im A little confused what do you mean with my voice?
Are you saying Jamie, is speaking too slowly, or in reality, you're just impatient🤔⁉️
@@OldShippinglines Please don't pay attention, to the previous commentator. He's impatient, and you're doing, a great job👍!!!
