I just bought a 1 gram gold maple leaf coin. I wanted gold but didn’t want to pay a ton for a larger one. It’s still really cool though!
1 gram? So it’s not quite 1/30 of a troy ounce.
Just don’t drop it on the floor or you’ll never find it again!
Hahah. Def don’t drop it! Other than that it’s still a sweet coin
That is one mighty pile of gold. Gold is the king after all.
You said it!
Hey brotha how are you. I had a question ❓ about a One cent 1989 d missing the reverse planchet so what do u think it is worth ...tia
St. George, not King George. St, George is the patron saint of England.
Yep, misspoke! You are totally correct :)
Trading up is the cornerstone to most great collections across all hobbies.
Truer words have never been spoken!
only a few minutes into the collection showcase and it's already worth way more than my whole coin collection lmao
very impressive though! i'm looking to buy a 1/10 oz gold coin soon, just so i can say i have gold in my collection
I started with a 1/20 ozt 😮
Hi Silverpicker. I have about 28 oz of silver eagles. I have been also buying constitutional silver. I was thinking about selling my high premium silver and buying gold. Do you think this is a good idea or should I hold on to it? Thanks
I def prefer gold to high premium silver. Just make sure you’re getting a good price
Nice coins made me happy.
Good Evening My Good Bro Silver Picker
What a video! Oh I shall buy more gold to ratio with my silver.
Grading would be a lot of fun, I love results videos, of course you’ll have to look them over very carefully to avoid sending in details coins, I’d send in the top 5 best examples
That's what I'm going to do :)
I held a piece of gold this weekend which I really wanted: a Carthaginian stater with Tanit on the front and a horse on the reverse. The price was reasonable too, I need to be more rich!!
That is a very cool sounding coin. Are you considering moving more into gold???
@@Silverpicker No, can't even come close to affording it, but if I had $1800 to toss around that stater would be mine.
@John Doe I would never recommend buying graded ancient coins. Ever.
I don't collect for the money, since I never really sell or trade. I collect coins because I love coins and love the history - that being said I'd love to get some gold, but probably won't buy any bullion. Unless I do that separate from my collecting as a way to store wealth.
St-george slaying the dragon. Would be kinda cool if it was the king tho
Have you invested in any NFTs or only physical art?
So far only physical art
Congrats man! I hope to buy a saint gaudens double eagle someday!
Thanks a lot! It’s so beautiful right!?
Very cool video, are you going to be updating your type set with these coins?
I am indeed!
I have a brick and mortar dealer who gets customers on occasion who purchase one million in coins. But they have been in business since 1955 and a huge inventory. For a single person with 25,000 to get that is quite hefty.
Thanks Chris :)
Jason is a total G! I’ve done business with him and he never disappoints.
On another note, I actually prefer the Liberty head designs over the later St. Gaudens designs. I just like the look of em better for some reason
He’s the man! I’m a huge St Gaudens fan and a huge Gold Indian fan too 😁
Nice. I picked up a nice 1981 1/4 Oz gold Libertad!
If you get those Indian gold coins graded, it will definitely increase the value. Those survived the great melt of 1933.
Why thank you. I am going to grade a bunch of them
Shame the camera resolution was too poor to make out any detail. Even photographs would have been better.
You’re right. I will improve on that
2.50 Indian gold coins are most counterfeited pre33. You need to make sure they are real deal. Get graded
Working on it now 😁
i love seeing you happy and i love all of the gold and you a lot of cool things. i am going to get some gold backs today so i am with you
Awesome!
Thats some nice gold there!
Glad they're in good hands.Enjoy!!!
And glad mine are as well :)
Congratulations
Gloves for the gold no greaseeeee
Only would I get graded are the mid ms coins otherwise not worth it
So you gonna change your channel name to gold picker lolol
Lol maybe 😜
You need to change your channels name now lol
l always have learn that touching a coin with your hands without gloves lowers the value of the coin.
Depends on the coin and the handling technique. PCGS and NGC graders handle the coins by hand
Depends a lot on the coin. Something with lustrous surfaces you shouldn’t touch, but older coins are generally ok to handle providing you have clean hands. Gold doesn’t corrode but it’s very easy to damage the physical surface of a coin, especially if the metal is 99.99% pure.
St-george, not king george ;p
Yes indeed! Slip of the tongue 😁
You should grade them you can end up with more money than you know
That would be awesome!
a very maticulas man im surprised to thing your vids especily this vid hard to see pls make it better
vid quality was not great can you get a closer look zoom my eyes hurt watching your vids other than that your content an success are great
Last ones are not even a oz and the premium on them are insane I buy regular bullion here is a example I bought a house with the cash from a tube of 1 oz gold eagles over a $41,000 down payment 3 bed room 2 bath new AC system new roof new floors and all new kitchen, cabinets and appliances
get all those old gold coins graded!
Why? They’re bullion coins - produced in the millions. Most of them are worth no more than the value of the metal.
Sure, if they’re genuinely UNC some of them will be worth and premium and may be worth grading.
For common coins grading is a fantastic way to burn money.
Not sure if that’s the case with pre-33 gold though
@@Silverpicker you're looking at about 1500 or so in grading fees, I think if that whole collection was graded there is nothing to lose. Not to mention then you won't have the temptation to handle it which is always my problem with gold
@@EcoLogicality - Handling older gold is rarely a problem, unless it’s in really pristine condition. Gold doesn’t corrode or oxidise unlike silver. In Europe we generally only slab the better quality pieces; in the US it seems to have become an unhealthy obsession.
Put a hat on bro, or shave it lol
The ultimate dogfart life....ew
Huh?
