Oh that is such a beautiful way to look at this. Your comment really brought tears to my eyes. I lost my dad just two weeks before I found out I was pregnant for our daughter and I know my dad would’ve loved and spoiled her so much. Now thanks to your comment, I know that he loves her so much.
My grandma died when my mom was 14, and I was given her name as my middle name. When I was in middle school I had a school presentation where family was invited. My grandpa saw my full name on my project and started crying. Apparently, he didn't know until that day what my middle name was, it was really beautiful.
Your story is beautiful, my family has a similar. My grandma died from breast cancer a couple of months before my little sister was born. Her name was Viola, my little sister's middle name is Viola.

We lost my second husband and step father to my girls to cancer. When the oldest had her son she named his second name after him. I also broke down and cried. He would have been so proud.

Names are so important, to put A LOT thought into them is worth every minute. Also check their initials they don't come up with something like Andrew Samuel Sanders. (Totally fictional!) My daughter’s dad and I gave our daughter his sister’s middle name. She was the same age as me, and we were in homeroom together all during junior high and high school. In July 2001, she was 8 months pregnant, and we were going to be celebrating our 10 year high school reunion at the end of July. She went to bed one night, and didn’t wake up the next morning. Lost her and the baby. After two autopsies, they still have not found a cause of death. No foul play, no drugs in her system. It will 23 years on July 2 that she and her baby, Austin will be gone. Her middle name was Ann, so we gave our daughter his big sister’s middle name. Also, my mother’s middle name is Ann, and so is my sister’s, so we can make them happy too! Our daughter’s name is Lyra Ann.
Very sad. A friend of mine passed the same way, and her young daughters found her. They do not know what happened either, but for some reason, I feel an aneurysm was probably the reason. Not sure, though, obviously. Wish we knew. Sorry for your loss ❤
