Shanghai, referred to as "Shanghai" or "Shen", is a municipality directly under the Central Government of the People's Republic of China, a national central city, a megacity, and a core city in the Shanghai metropolitan area. Innovation Center, a famous historical and cultural city in China. Shanghai has a total area of 6,340.5 square kilometers and governs 16 districts. In 2022, Shanghai will realize a gross regional product (GDP) of 4,465.28 billion yuan, a decrease of 0.2% from the previous year. The added value of the primary industry was 9.695 billion yuan, a decrease of 3.5%; the added value of the secondary industry was 1,145.843 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.6%; the added value of the tertiary industry was 3,309.742 billion yuan, an increase of 0.3%.

I am an American who visited China in the late 70's. what a way this country has come. it is clean beautiful and designed. We have freedom in the USA, freedom to through trash every where, freedom to shoot each other each week, free from cameras so capturing criminals is difficult. Impressive discipline from drivers, and an eerie lack of the cacophony of sounds that assail you practically everywhere I've ever been. I've been in villages of a few hundred souls noisier than Shanghai... so far not a single police siren wailing, not a car horn sounding off (oops just heard the first one on 57:00 mins 😅)

City looks modern and sparkling clean but curiously why do cars seem to have so much dust on them, that hazy murky layer on rear glass, boot and roof of most vehicles. That’s what it looks like, I might be mistaken but it’ll be nice if someone from Shanghai could answer this?
It may be due to the weather. Some cars have to travel a long way to Shanghai from other places, and there is dust on the road.
