For the license plate light or the turn signals. I’m new to wiring, what if I don’t know which one is positive or negative will it blow a fuse or mess up the wires. Just bought a 2024 mt07 and don’t want to mess it up.
with the oem signals, it would make a lot more sense to cut/route/re-solder/shrinkwrap the oem signal wires, rather than bore a big hole in the part that's meant to cover a bigger hole...
I have a set of these pod turn signals on my 2021 Yamaha MT-07 and now that its all done and installed, the whole unit sits crooked( license plate mount and blinkers). Any idea or suggestions on how to even it out?
Without seeing photos it's tough to tell how "crooked" it's sitting and possible solutions to fix it. If you contact our Customer Support Team they can try to help out.
@TSTindustries i bought the rear MECH-EVO Turn Signals Feature An 8mm Mounting Stud And Flat Mounting Surface, i wanna connect the running lights for those, but i don't know to get it connected using the Running Light Connection Kit.
@@kevincoello4139 alright... Now i have enough info to answer in a precise way. One valid configuration is the tail running light circuit of your bike (blue wire in the bundle of three going to tail light). You can also connect to the license plate light positive like you said since the Mech-EVO running light circuit draws so little current . I hope this helps you finish it up. Cheers! -BR
@TSTindustries i see, one more question. If i connect it to tail or license plate light, do i have to connect both ends of the running light connection kit to the same wire?
I'm not sure I fully understand your question. If you're wanting to run our Integrated Tail Light and external signals, you will only need 1 y-splitter as those are sold as a pair. As long as the signals you are intending to use have OEM connections, only ONE y-splitter is needed.
I have the same question as above… you showed connecting the 1 turn signal plug to the y splitter and then the integrated tail light plug to the other side of the Y splitter. Where does the other side then signal get plugged in? The left side turn signal was not connected to the y splitter so how would it blink in tandem?
@@marcobartoletta8449 each Y splitter takes care of one side signals. It is in the shape of a Y. The bottom of the y is one line that connects to bike harness. The top side of the y is two lines, with a signal lamp connected to each. One Y = one side. We sell Y splitter kits in pairs so one Y splitter purchase = two splitters, enough for left and right signals.
@@TSTindustries sorry I’m a bit confused… if the Y splitter allows for 2 connections (the brake light/integrated tail light and 1 turn signal), does the 2nd turn signal just connect where it typically would on its own as if they were not all getting synced up? Or does left and right each connect to the Y and the tail light connects in the traditional spot?

Can i use the same circuit as the license plate light to connect the rear running light?
Your question is broad and vague. Please give me a few more details about what you are connecting to get running light on.

Would I need two Y connectors installed for double turn signals or just the one with the standard connection for the other side?
