i want it but im disappointed that theres no pilot in the cockpit view. Or is there? with a plane of that fidelity i would expect to be able to she the pilots body in the cockpit ... helps with immersion.
Hi TSP, So far as I am aware, a pilot avatar will only be displayed in the non-user cockpit (when appropriately selected from the tablet). I.e. I don’t think the player is able to see his own avatar (which I agree, is a very immersive option to have). I hope that clarifies things a little. All the best!
That's the size of the Canopy IRL. It's quite roomy on the inside. It's a civilian prop body that the military fit two martin baker ejection seats into.
Anyone fly the X-Plane FlightAdvantage T6 and can compare the flight model accuracy and systems modelling? Aiming to use this for RCAF Phase 2 BFT famil before I go on course.
Hi there bought the red arrow T1 Hawk product today and have had one major issue. I have searched online for countless hours now and I am totally stuck. All reviews online including TH-cam I have watched and this issue works perfectly for everyone else. I have deleted and redownloaded the product hoping that would make a difference but it hasn't. The issue is when I input the correct input for the ailerons for the aircraft to either bank right or left my aileron deflection is very small and the aircraft banks very slowly to one side even thou I'm putting max input on my analogue stick, I've tried everything and it makes no sense. It's nothing to do with my controller or MFS2020 100% something with the aircraft, I don't understand why it's just happening to me as there's no reviews of this particular problem. Very much appreciate any help with this PLEASE.
I have the same, or at least a variation where I have minimal deflection for the first 75% of movement and then ridiculously large deflection for the last 25%. Makes it almost impossible to fly smoothly. I’ve found the only way to slightly remedy it is in the joystick calibration itself and at least make it reliably over sensitive.
@@andyreynolds6194 thanks for your reply. I’ve tried higher sensitivity methods and nothing works the aircraft just rolls very slowly but every other review on YT they can roll the aircraft very very quickly. What is the issue? It’s ruining the aircraft!
Yes that’s for the “rudder bar lock” I have tried to click every button/knob there is. it’s nothing to do with my controller it’s the aileron deflection itself… when I go to roll the hawk my ailerons only move half of what they should even tho I have the joystick max to the (right or left).
Apologies this comment has nothing to do with the videos but I am looking for help with MSFS. I CANNOT get the game to download on the installer. I've tried multiple times over the last 3 months and it will not go above 23(ISH)%, even when left on for nearly 24 hours solid. It appears to be downloading stuff but then the % just does not change. If anyone has any ideas/solutions, I would be most appreciative.
Well, crap. I was just about to buy this, but the gauge stutter and delayed control response issues you point out is scaring me away. Question: Are you flying in a multiplayer session to be in formation with another T-6 in this video?
Seeing as how it is a fighter trainer and they focus on formation flying you wouldn't be using an autopilot anyway, you'd always be hands on so that lack of an autopilot shouldn't be that big of an issue, unless you just don't have the attention span required for flying real airplanes(which most GA aircraft don't have one at all)
@@ImpendingJokerthe sim lacks great turboprops, so the flight envelope could use a plane like this that could do IFR with AP. It would fill a void. Once you are following the magenta line for an hour or more it is nice to go hands free. I agree that is not the intended use for this plane IRL.
It's kind of funny now that you mention it. The Navy's are orange because they fly over the water a lot more. Don't want a blue plane going down into dark blue water.

Honestly, it reflects the T-6's trim IRL pretty well. The thing is a beast and it's trim is quite sensitive.
@@Viper31300 interesting. Perhaps it doesn’t translate well to a simulator where you don’t have any feedback through the stick?
How can you move the camera like this ? Via mouse or what?
i want it but im disappointed that theres no pilot in the cockpit view. Or is there? with a plane of that fidelity i would expect to be able to she the pilots body in the cockpit ... helps with immersion.
Hi TSP,
So far as I am aware, a pilot avatar will only be displayed in the non-user cockpit (when appropriately selected from the tablet). I.e. I don’t think the player is able to see his own avatar (which I agree, is a very immersive option to have).
I hope that clarifies things a little. All the best!
@@IntotheBlueSimulations indiafoxtecho has spoiled me with the f35 pilot options.
How to get that Radio Chatter on the ground?
It's useually provided by Stick & Rudders FS- ATC - chatter, which is a great little util 👍
15:30 why is that plane's canopy so huge? does anyone know?
That's the size of the Canopy IRL. It's quite roomy on the inside. It's a civilian prop body that the military fit two martin baker ejection seats into.
Does this plane work in msfs 2024?
Anyone fly the X-Plane FlightAdvantage T6 and can compare the flight model accuracy and systems modelling? Aiming to use this for RCAF Phase 2 BFT famil before I go on course.
Anyone know how to get the formation aircraft ? Is it an add on ?
Awesome! Anyone know the price?
Blackbird simulations web site, 45 dollars
Around $50usd iirc
@@jamesmarshall1019silly question- you have taken the control lock off (red bar just by the control stick in the front cockpit)?
@@andyreynolds6194 yes… the one that’s connected to the rudder? I’ve clicked everything round the cockpit 🫣🤣
He has to be in multiplayer yea you cant make AI do that unless hes also a programmer
@@gamertardguardian1299 Actually, he's using an add-on utility called, "Airshow Assistant" to get an AI wingman.
Man up. FFS

As soon as an Autopilot becomes available I will by the aircraft.
Do we know if one is planned?
I don’t, but if enough users ask for it…
Seeing as how it is a fighter trainer and they focus on formation flying you wouldn't be using an autopilot anyway, you'd always be hands on so that lack of an autopilot shouldn't be that big of an issue, unless you just don't have the attention span required for flying real airplanes(which most GA aircraft don't have one at all)
@@ImpendingJoker True. But for many users is helpful to be able to leave the aircraft for a while to do something else.
Always thought it was weird the Airforces T-6’s were navy blue, but the Navy’s T-6’s were orange
It's kind of funny now that you mention it. The Navy's are orange because they fly over the water a lot more. Don't want a blue plane going down into dark blue water.
You entered spin because you pressed on the rudder during stall. This is how actually start a spin.
IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS IL BE DONE DOWNLOADING MSFS AGAIN LOL IM GOING TO PURCHASE THIS MOD IT LOOKS FUN I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND WHY IT TAKES SO LONG IM 72HRS IN ONLY 42G DOWNLOADED IVE DONE THIS ONCE ALREADY THATS THE ONLY THING THAT SUKS ABOUT MSFS
That and your keyboard being broken too.
