V8 Racing's Corvette is an older GTE spec corvette and is only now really becoming uncompetitive against the latest GT3 cars but is still more than adequate to run in the Pro Am class. They've run Corvettes for years and its allowed under Creventic rules so theres no reason for them to change car yet. The Ford GT is a heavily updated first generation GT3 spec car built by Lambda Performance which was winning races in the ADAC GT Masters against top GT3 teams only a few years ago, which has been updated again for the 2018 season. Since the new Ford GT is GTE/GTLM only and there are no customer cars, Lambda's car has probably been the only Ford GT GT3 competing at a high level for several years now.
Guys i love your channel and the Race, but you forget *LOTS* of things, like you have Just 3 cameras, theres lot of informations that you forgot like, showing not onli the name of the driver and the team, but the car, lile you could show 15 to 15 minutes athe classification, showing the team, the cars, the drivers and laps, and dont take too Much time to say the positions( thats boring ! ) Im giving advices to make It better faster and more technic . Ow i quietly forgot!!!!! You MUST show the Gap between the drivers!
mester orange So you want them to talk less about positions but you want more informations? How should that work? Also they show the gaps after every 1-2 hours. They work on the cameras but the Dubai 24h isn't that big of an event so they don't get so much money to buy a bigger crew with more cams.

I love watching these as background noise but I have to say the graphics on this series is complete shit. There is no way in hell you could follow any of the different sub races. You have no idea where a close race is, or isn't. In short, watching this, it's not a race to the viewer, its cars going in circles until an announcer pipes up and tells you "second and third are duking it out in so-and-so class." We get overall position which isn't useful for 90% of the cars, car number which is somewhat useful to the viewer, team name which 90% of team names arn't known by 90% of viewers. We don't get delta between cars, class break downs, hell even championship breakdown, or for the most part driver name. You know, the things that would create a narrative for the viewer. I'm not saying the IMSA graphics are perfect, and you do have many more classes here, but comparatively it's like you guys didn't even try. EDIT: S/G

New models fall into gte in Europe or gtlm in usa. Old models are gtd in us and gt3 abroad.

They should have had all 3 series in this race, would've been even more interesting
Proto has LMP3 and Radicals, it's almost a feeder series. No point
Chain Breaker Motorsports The Protos had like 10 cars and most them broke down. I think it's better this way.
