- I only managed a quick session this time due to long crops and coming across some rather dangerous stuff! Something a bit different this time but hope to get out metal detecting again soon.

Hi mate, danger of death, like it, thats one way to get someones attention. You still managed to find some cool stuff detecting only that tiny strip!! I've been out today, it felt baking hot and very sticky and uncomfortable. Beautiful blue sky and sun though
Thanks mate, it seems to have grabbed the Algorithms attention as this morning the impressions/views have ramped up!! I think I need to find a bit of nice pasture as it seems everywhere just has crops around here. Good luck on your hunts 👍
That was a large growth of Hemlock. I'm glad you know what it is! And you found some good stuff!

Well I never knew that was hemlock, seen it but never knew to avoid it - I do now though ( yet another benefit of being a subscriber to your excellent channel. That flying car of yours is a handy trick for popping over to Europe 😂. Thanks for another excellent video.

Considering you only did the field border, you did well. I once freed a badger caught up in a fence and they are vicious. Luckily I didn't get bit, as it was showing teeth, so you're right about the dangers.
Oh wow, I haven't come face to face with a badger but have been stepped on by a horse 😂 oh and a crazy cow didn't like me!

How do you get permission to farm land? I have tried about five farms now with no luck one of them the farmer actually told me to @@@@ off lol
Hey Tom, it can be tough, I imagine the obvious farms get asked so many times! What I do is look on side by side maps at the old Victorian maps as the farms are labelled on there and drop a pin on Google maps on a few and plan a route around a few in the area and usually come across the less obvious farms but sometimes it takes a while to get a yes. I have not had an angry farmer like yours though, must have caught him on a bad day!
