After seeing this I placed an order and I just got it the other day (South Korea). First impression, not that bad? but considering the amount of money I spent and a few key improvements it needs, it's 2.5 star at best with $30 price tag. There are some aspects Amazon reviews didn't quite cover when I purchased this. 1.the left and right side of the mouse needs separate teflon feet, it wobbles if you press hard on your thumb or carelessly move your mouse. 2.The ridge that portrudes between thumb and index(towards thumb) just sticks out and needs to be more curved. 3.the weight distribution is off to front and needs an iron stud or some sort of weight at the palm area. 4.a thin layer of rubber or silicon around where the Magic Mouse2 could've gone a long way. All four of the points I made begs the question spending $30(w/o shipping) is justifiable. If it was $10 price range than I would've accepted this as is but $30 (lets face it 29.99 is basically 30 and thankfully shipping to Korea wasn't huge so it was about $38 but with currency exchange it feels more like $50 to me according to my credit card bill)

Instead of sticking with that stupid design, i'd rather they design a magnetic charging dock that we can purchase as an add-on. That way the mouse can be docked whenever its not in use, and then detached fully charged easily. Just having it charged like a beetle on its back is ridiculous
The problem with these ergonomic mice is that they're not ergonomic at all. An ergonomic mouse should allow you to hold it with your palm facing out to the left. @@jamesfinney8382 not a huge issue as i have spares but had i not it would since it ceases to operate during the charge and it is in a dumb location. also as it gets older charge hold times do get shorter.
Imagine buying a wireless mouse for 20x the price of one just because it's made by Apple and called a "magic mouse" and then complaining it's uncomfortable, rich people issues.
I just want the mouse to be silent. I hate the click noise at 1am
Am the only one that stopped using a mouse when they came out with the trackpad? The 2nd gen trackpad was a huge upgrade
Magic Trackpad is all that I need
The Magic mouse will never be fixed because it's not magical, it's trash.
If there’s not a 1-9 number pad on the side, not interested.
am i the only one who doesn't have a problem with magic mouse ergonomics wise, however I have cramps when i use mx master 3s at work ?
The solution all along was just to buy a regular Bluetooth mouse
i love and hate the magic mouse! They need to make a mouse with softer clicks... ugh not just a add on. I have the Logi lift so much nice then apple's.
I like the Magic Mouse cause I’m left handed and every mouse is made for right hands
Still the worst design in history when we talk about charging the device…such a merd@
I actually use both the Magic Mouse and the MX3. The MX3 is my desktop and editing mouse that never moves from my station. The magic mouse is perfect to slip into my backup and use for short on the go studying or editing sessions.
Doesn't fix the lightning connector
If you have big hands like me using the Magic Mouse really hurts your wrist
coming from an apple user and someone who spends his days in spreadsheets and power bi. even if you fit a Ferrari to the Magic Mouse somehow, people will still pick up the mx 3s cause they have perfected the mouse over time.I have been through my fair share of devices, nothing comes close to mx 3s.
Your hand shouldn't be on the mouse, it should be grabbing it. If you have the carpal tunnel, you need a handshake position mouse. If you're okay with these so called ergonomic mice where your hand is still on top, then you probably dont even have carpal tunnel that badly. You're fine with no accessories at all. Enjoy the minimalistic look of Apple's Magic Mouse otherwise get a real ergonomic mouse.
What you dont know is that the knew they were selling you half mouse from the begining you will just buy it because of image and now that you are fed up with the unconfortness they sell you the other half as a solution xD
Apple: should we make a new mouse that’s more comfortable? Nah make a plastic frame for the old one and sell it for $50 and call it a day
This accessory is not made by Apple
It's not the "goofiest recharge in tech history" anymore - behold: the new iPad x Apple Pencil!
ergonomi was never the problem. I can't use the damn thing while charging. that is the whole issue.
So basically its a MX Master
The amazon rating for this is super low.
I wish third party mice on macOS weren't absolute shit.
You guys just use your palm and arm to much, you’re supposed to use your fingers and wrists to move the mouse around.
Mouse is dead. Long live the track pad.
Atleast 1 problem will be gone
As a avid apple user, I will never use the Magic Mouse. It’s such a awful product design
This is a great mouse for creators I tried it with Blender and other editing software the workflow is very enjoyable though gaming with it is just no.
The fact they put the charging port at the bottom of the the new (2024) apple mouse anyway is a big FU to their customers & shows they don't care but with the current "leadership" the mouse probably "identifies" as a fucking actual cat, yikes
I’m the complete opposite built a PC bought a 130 “gaming” mouse and it was so uncomfortable it was so light it felt so cheap and uncomfortable bumps returned it for black apple mouse and keyboard and everything is right in the world now
Having a lighter mouse can actually benefit gamers, but if you're not into gaming, you won't really need it. There's plenty of other more comfortable gaming and non gaming mice out there. Personally I don't get how the shape of the magic mouse can be comfortable for anyone, but I guess people have their own preferences.
@@Niels_f2704 yeah I play some games on PC but not competitive in any way I like the simple smoothness of the Magic Mouse it feels very high quality and well made. The solid feel and weight helps me have more precise control so I’m not flinging the mouse all over the place because it feels like air
@@Reebok4523 you should check out g502 from Logitech the most comfortable mouse I've used, the scroll wheel is the best I have seen in a mouse.
Of course the dark gray will be $39.99 😮
The only thing I hate about the mouse is the charging
so you're telling you don't get free time to charge in 3 weeks?
@@reyash___ but why would I need to charge my fucking mouse?? I have a cheap hp Bluetooth mouse that accepts AAA batteries and has been going on for like 8 months now and still has 60% battery left
the reviews on Amazon are not favorable.
Apple really produces some crappy mouse and keyboards which are not ergonomic at all
Does it increase DPI? That’s the main reason the mouse sucks big time
😊😊👍👍
Tube of silicone, rubber glove…done!
But what about the real problem: the charging situation.
Lol why are people such babies about this?😂 it has genuine problems: like the way it fits in your hand.. the gestures are at least nice… but the charging is literally such a non-issue.
You can usually go months without charging.. it effects you for 2 hours per 12 months that it’s on the bottom lol
@@kasondow If you plug it in to charge over night, it doesn't affect you at all.
@@gregorymoore2877 exactly. Apple makes a ton of wireless stuff (keyboard, mouse, trackpad, AirPods, etc.) that you’d rarely want to use while plugged in anyways and so it barely matters where the port sits
Still have to charge it from the bottom😂
U can just 3D print it. Problem solved.
Can’t it find on Amazon😂
I love the mx master 3
Maybe add another button to it and a scroll wheel maybe.....
Damn it’s out of stock lol
This is great
Why to do an add-on and not to fix the charge port situation. This add-on is useless
the easiest fix would be JUST DONT BUY THE MOUSE
Do it fast!!
I use the MX master 2 & 3
But for traveling I keep the Apple mouse that fits perfectly in my bag.
