the reason i am interested in this is the railroad museum i voulenteer at has a bunch of this stuff in the basment that has been there for 20 years i would imagine, i am thinking of trying to set up the lionel stuff its gonna be a challenge though the tracks are real dirty and the locomotives are real dirty too it was not the place to store them for sure
Yea...Kinda takes the fun out of it...LOL! All operating accessories are on a separate variable voltage tap to ensure proper operation. Well....MOST of the time....
Many thanks for the compliments. Yes, most of the trains and accessories date from the 50's. Lionel's philosophy was to mimic the operation of real railroad operations. TONS of FUN fer sure!
