It's Christmas eve right now and yestersay I have changed my hairstyle (and even my confidnece is already really low) my dad came up to me and he told me that I look bad and it's terrible and I was sad as fuck and then this song came on Shuffle. It helps me to not feel bad about myself that bad, to not be shamed about myself, to not listen others, to be myself, to be as free as my hair. I am my hair.

this made me cry. I used to get bullied by my siblings when I was young. I wanted to die back then. It really affected me growing up. I lack confidence and I can't even carry normal conversations because I keep thinking that people would judge me. I started listening to Gaga 2 years back and I have started accepting myself now. Thank you Gaga for helping me and others like me.

This song captured all the emotions I'm feeling right now. I'm seriously crying as I type this comment. I have very strict parents . They don't let me hang out with my friends unless it has something to do with school. They don't let me go to the parties I get invited to. Sure, you'd think that I'm just a crazy 17 year old asking for something foolish as freedom but you see, I'm just really depressed right now. I have low self-esteem. I'm sorry if you read this comment accidentally but I just had to let out all these feelings.

One day you're going to move out and learn how to be your own person. Believe it or not it is a learning process and when you do it will be one of the greatest feelings of your life. Just remember that you're you and matter how much your parents try to make you into them, they cannot break you. Life does get better. Just realize really, that in the end, YOU'RE in control. I remember watching this vid in middle school holy shit…we’ve grown so much . She was the “ you hade to be their” type of phenomenon. She was true and deep with her artistry even though haters where huge in the bandwagon she delivered true Performance Art. Retomber sur cette performance, c’est être nostalgique direct. Tout d’abord, de cette erea mais surtout d’une certaine idée de la television française qui s’autorisait ces moments suspendus. Je me souviens avoir caché un ordinateur dans ma chambre chez mes parents,pour regarder ce taratata avec lady gaga. J’avais une dizaine d’année, aujourd’hui, chaque visionnage me ramène à mon état dès lors, entre excitation et émotion. Ce soir là et tous les autres qui ont suivis j’ai été mes cheveux.

Le soir même j'en avais fait un dessin et j'avais écouté son album Born this way, cet album qui est si symbolique pour moi et me rappelle toujours quelqu'un lors de mon année de première.

I don't think people hate her, I think a lot of people don't see past the 'strange look' and the big choreographed sets. I'm 55 and was never in to Madonna (more my era) but I fairly quickly saw there was a lot more to Gaga, underneath the glitz and glam there is a true musician and artist who has fought hard to get where she is and as someone who was always 'different' she talks to me through her lyrics.
