Funny poster. The Russian translation is quite amusing as it basically states (horizontally): “The creator of a task” instead of taskmaster. And vertically it’s written “tasks are our obligations”.
Something tells me that a Russian version of this show would be much darker, dower, and with tasks being called 'special operations'.

It's not bad being a personal assistant/intern, you are the dogsbody who has to run around town doing errands for the producer but no matter what sort of absurd or embarrassing item you have to fetch you can always tell the truth and say it's for a TV show.
Imagine if it transpired that the Pope had four siblings who were a ghost, a stuntman, a matador, and a weird honey-themed dominatrix

I'm gonna take the joke away from Pope Beenedict the 2nd, as it is a uniform. The white robe is called a Cassock, the white skullcap that only the Pope (should) wear is called a Zucchetto, and the cape vestment is called a Mozzetta. Together they are the uniform of the office.
There are other named clothing items as well, such as the Camauro "pointy hat", or a Cappello Romano, a wide-brimmed hat, not to forget to mention various jewelry like the Ring of The Fisherman. I kinda find fashion and garb interesting when it relates to various religions.
My first thought was to make a little boy scouts uniform but I now realise after looking at their end results there is no way I would of been able to do that. Good thing I don’t actually have to.

I'm glad he didn't follow through with that "Pope's outfit is not a uniform" nitpick. If he was gonna be that pedantic then he'd have to disqualify all five of them.
TBH, I TOTALLY would have given zero points to everyone. Not one of them was a uniform.

@@cristobalgarces1675 So, I'm coming from a relatively uninformed place, to be fair. But for me, a uniform is a selection of specific clothing which identify the wearer as belonging to a certain group - as in, that is the function of the clothing, to identify.
Police, nurse, firefighter, school student, fast food worker, soldier - all of those would qualify as uniforms, since they identify an individual as part of a group. The beekeeper wears protective clothing, the function of which is to protect. A construction worker might wear jeans, t-shirt, face mask, hard hat. Is that a uniform? A welder will wear a helmet, is that a uniform? Genuinely posing the questions, not aggressively attacking the idea!!
I think there's a difference between a uniform, and a typical outfit.

Evel Knievel was well known for his record making jumps, but he was also just as well known for his many wrecks. So, Beevel Knievel is just living up to the originator's life achievements and failures.

I think I would have made the Hive Knight from Hollow Knight. I'd get some foil and a nail, and maybe some glue or tape, and then a snack and a beer like Jamali to round it out.

Oh HONEY, that was terrible.
I tokk a few minutes to consider and would have gone for 'Buzz Aldrin" or "Bee Bee King". Both iconic, both falling under the "Is it a uniform" conumdrum
(Buzz has a ping pong ball with some hole cut out for a helmet. Bee Bee has some spangly blue material and a guitar)

The distinct clothes worn by a member of a religious order are usually known as "habit", although I think with the Roman Catholic Pope it's called the regalia. Nevertheless, what she did looked nothing like any of the Pope's various habits or regalia.
Regardless of editing I'm sure it was no more than 5 seconds before Lee came up with "beevil Knievel"

I'd have given five points to Charlotte. A pope has official clothing that belongs to the job description, which is pretty much the definition of a uniform. Meanwhile, a stunt bee needs to have protection, sure... but it really isn't subject to any sort of standard. (Other than keeping them alive, but if standards didn't matter, I'm sure the pope would just do his speeches as naked as God created him...)
A pope uniform without a pope hat? The hat's the most recognisable part.
It wasn't a "stunt bee", it was Beevel Knievel. and a White leather jumpsuit with matching helmet and draped in stars and stripes iconography IS his uniform.
As much as I like Charlotte, I'd have given her 0, citing the removal of the fingers of the glove as removing part of the bee keeper costume contestants were required not to remove
I'd make a bee nurse and just make little scrubs for it with wing holes.

@@gardenlover9663 My one disappointment with Taskmaster NZ is during the opening when it states that the program is "A TVNZ Original" when viewed on TVNZ+, and when broadcast live on TV2 here in NZ. I think the Taskmaster might have something to say about that.

merriam webster definition of uniform: dress of a distinctive design or fashion worn by members of a particular group and serving as a means of identification. therefore, pope's cassock is totally a uniform.

Any form of clothing that denotes a position in a job is a uniform. Regardless of it being religious. Vestments are uniforms.

I mean it is a group of people. Its the outfit worn by every pope. It isnt unique for each pope

Well Greek στολή means "uniform" and it's the origin of English "stole", an ecclesiastical vestments, so arguably the Pope's vestments are the only uniform here (and Greg definitely hasn't asked everyone in the world)

@@deadlineuniverse3189 The main job of the drones (male bees) is to mate with queen bees from other hives, so they do indeed leave their hives somewhat voluntarily.
Most bees are female. All the worker bees are female. But there are male bees. They stay in the hive until they need to go out and fertilise a queen bee from another hive.
