She is going with the issues, the most important thing. According to Amy, she is a Democratic Socialist (not the same thing, and Bernie misused the labels).
Hard to say. When answering what democratic socialism means to her she answered essentially like a social democrat would. However she is a member of Democratic Socialists of America, which is primarily Democratic Socialist, but have caucuses for left leaning Social Democrats and Communists. She should therefor know the difference, especially as ADS was created as a response to Social Democrats. Given her very pragmatic and realistic goals it is very possible that she genuinely is a socialist, as she claims.
