Hii Sam ❤ my aunt faced the same problem which you are going through now. I will suggest you to buy a new soft slipper which is very helpful while moving in house or doing household work. Keep it aside in a place and use it only in house.

WEAR FUR FLIP-FLOPS. They can be kept just outside the Ganpati pandaal area to keep them super clean and 'sucha'. They are almost like a cloth chappal, like you are wearing a socks kind of thing. You can take them to kitchen also but don't take them to washroom or outside for cleanliness.

Sambhavna didi muje same problem dedh saal se thi...me bilkul pair rakh nai pati thi...2-3 doctor ko dikhaya wo bole ki apko Thande garm pani se sikai karna hai, kuch leg exercises bataye or bola ghar me soft chappal (doctor chappal )pehenna hai..uske sath he me vitamin D3 ki capsule khati hu week me 1 baar....trust me mera pain ekdum se thik ho gaya...muje laga nai tha ki kabhi ye thik hoga....m pregnant now and mera vit D3 capsule chalu hai uske sath vit D ki cheezen khati hu (milk, paneer,tofu ect).ye problem D3 ki deficiency se hoti hai cz me vegitarian hu, non veg nai khati, fair hu and sun light me bhi mostly nai jati....but m absolutely fine now...
