After re-imaged to ASA code and upon reload will it automatically boot into ASA code only, just like as if it is an ASA appliance? Thanks

If I install the ASA/ASDM image on the Firepower 2110, would I still be able to use the firepower feature? If so how could i do that.

No, you'll have have Firepower Feature when running ASA on FP2100/4100/9300 platform. You need to run FTD on FP2100/4100/9300 platform to have Firepower/NGFW/NGIPS features.
