    Create different types of Garments
Understand the principles of Tailoring and the kind of things we look for when creating cloth

    Marvelous Interface
    Pattern Usage
    Principles of Tailoring
    Medieval Clothing
    Prop Creation
    Textures
    Rendering
    COURSE PROJECTS:
We will start by spending 30 minutes to customize our workflow in Zbrush so we can work much faster and efficiently. Then we will make the female head where i will explain what you should watch for in a female head modelling. Then we will make a placeholder hair, which will be good enough for more cartoon base render. Then we will make the teeth, and eyes from scratch. After that we will make the female body, again from the sphere, following our concept. After we are done with our female body, we will start making a 3D sketch of our model, to get the correct placement of all our accessories and clothes, this is a pretty important stage in the end of which we will have a very good idea how our model will look when it's finished.
IS THIS COURSE RIGHT FOR ME:
The course is divided into 6 chapters, the first 5 chapters are all about learning the tools while exploring different exercises, we will do basic garments, props, dresses, medieval patterns and finally a complete outfit for a custom character. In the 6th chapter I will be taking you throughout different workflows and render techniques to get amazing results from your projects.
This course is aimed at beginner level students who want to learn how to use marvelous designer from zero. However we will be covering a lot of information that should be helpful for artists of all leves. No previous experience is required however basic knowledge of other 3d softwares will be helpful for the final chapter.

As much as I appreciate that the dev team is small, it’s really frustrating that their own tutorials are so old, and very poorly put together.
Thank goodness for third party tutorials such as this, which I will be using to get familiar with MD.

hey great into tutorial! i know this might be a bit of a stretch but - i am a novice in md and have a project on my hands - and i am stuck. if maybe you could help? I have a coat model, it wool and got piping around all main edges and seams. i have created the piping by offsetting as an internal line and cutting and sewing it, works fine. however, once I apply texture and export it, it bakes the uv map of the offset piping as squiggly and stretched. have no idea why! and google is no help with this issue. 😔🙏 any kind of assistance i would greatly appreciate

Anyone have experience with moving characters from Character creator into marvelous designer? Or moving clothing designed on Marvelous designer into CC? thanks!

Hi abraham i got a question:
Do we need cleaning topology with quads after finishing the garment creation in marvelous designer?
I mean if the character is going to have complete body rigged and the soft cloth to sit on the body, i assume since the cloth is going to be simulated why would bother to do retopoloy on it?
    Please help me i ain't got anyone around since i'm a self-taught artist :)

In my opinion, the Garmin editor is still a pain in the ass. Instead of build at least primal function into, functions every freeware vector drawing Software has since decades, they go further with this DAZ cloud Lego style marketing system. Instead of doing your own design and creativity, just use the "ready to use" library. You'll find everything in our big cloud store, for money, of course. So everything is new and shiny now while browsing tons of premium libs, as long as you not try to edit your own schematics. Then you are back into clutter, moronic workflow, without any progress since years.

I took this course which could have been better in so many ways.
The instructor makes so many mistakes. In one incident he makes a mistake and continues with it for a few minutes before realizing he made a mistake.
Also the instructor sneezes as if there is nothing called sound editing to take these annoying noises out.
The instructor also struggles with using some tools.
It is apparent that he did not prepare for this course well.
